I also sword fight at any given opportunity.
I'm dreading to ask, but what discipline?

OT:

Eh... to watch: the three British team sports (being football, rugby & cricket), but damn cricket's never on except as highlights.

To play: (if you call it 'playing') Thai boxing & used to do archery. Also used to play football, was OK at right-back, but didn't really like it (kept being bollocked for drifting in too much)... :/
Well, I have done fencing, but what would be best for describing what I mainly practiced would be 'no holds barred'.

Recently, I got into a duel using actual (blunted) sabers, and it culminated in he using the knuckle guard to break the guy's nose.

I got carried away, alright!? D:

Blimey...(!) No animosity in there whatsoever then?! /jk

Still, duelling? Irish code, perchance?! =P

Of relevance... I did kenjutsu for a while (lots of bruised shoulders).

<------- Football.

Also gymnastics and tennis, but mostly football.
Yay a fellow Arsenal fan! Terrible news about Van Persie leaving, that bloody turncoat!

I watch football mostly, some F1 whenever I catch it on. As for playing, I play football, tennis and badminton. I used to play netball and volleyball a few years ago.

I play football/soccer as a left back, right footed at that too.

Surprisingly I also watch football, as well as hockey because I am Canadian.

I don't watch sports too often. I'll usually only watch them during a big event, like the Olympics, the World Cup or the Super Bowl. Otherwise I'd rather not. Playing sports however, I play Tennis and Basketball. I've also started boxing to lose some weight, but I wouldn't say I could compete in a tournament.

I haven't fought consistently for a while. The thing with the blunted sabers was the most recent, but it's the only thing I've done in a while.

I used to play a lot of Hockey and trained as a Boxer for a few years. These days I don't really do either. I still like them in theory but I haven't seen a match that I've been excited for in years.

I played baseball from between ages 4 and 12 and now I play Tennis on my high school's team. I watch some collage baseball at a park that's about 2 minutes away from my house.

Play:
I once played tennis and I'm a beginning archer and windsufer though I haven't done the latter in ages. Damn shame, I do miss it. I'd also like to play either tennis again or badminton.

Watch:
Sometimes tennis (Grand Slam finales are always fun), sometimes hockey and football (soccer) when our national team plays.

I like to catch various other sports as well from time to time. Thanks to the Olympics I can see sports they usually don't broadcast over here; boardercross during the Winter Games, badminton during the Summer Games, water polo, BMX, that sort of thing.

I play tennis always when I can. About once a week this summer. Got to come up with something else for the winter.

I watch tennis, major (mainly national) football[footnote]not handegg[/footnote] and ice hockey tournaments. Also some athletics, and Olympics naturally. Mixed martial arts too, although it's been a while. I would watch a lot of NHL if the cable subscription didn't cost strawberries.

From team sports leagues, I'm mostly interested in NHL though, and my favorite team is Philadelphia Flyers.

edit: Hurling seems interesting. Also, our national sport [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pesäpallo] is kind of like baseball, but different. Ice hockey is by far the most popular sport here. After that, probably athletics.

I'm a fan of a lot of sports, watching Cricket, Tennis, Football, hell, even Golf when they're on. I'm a massive West Ham United fan, which may seem a little masochistic to some but whatever.

Of the sports I play, I'm not great at many. I was a half-decent goalkeeper for years, but the only sport of the ones above that I'd call myself passable at would be tennis.

I am, however, rather excellent at the somewhat non-athletic indoor games. Table tennis wizard, and I'm undefeated at Table Football, once having won a game by myself against 4 people left handed 10-1. I mean they were all wildly incompetent but it's a mildly impressive sounding story.

Used to play tennis, but it's fucking expensive now, so I can't afford it.

I don't really watch any sports. Especially not Tennis. The ball's so small and going so fast that you can't even see it.

It is what it is. I don't really get attached to individual players much anymore, because they're so prone to leaving. That said, I was still unbelievably happy when Henry came back for part of the season last year. I also decided to support New York in the American MLS league entirely because Henry plays for them. I my rule about not getting attached to specific players isn't set in stone.

Yeah hurling is a crazy old sport. Its very old and the skills of some players are crazy. I dont play it myself as to get a knack for hurling you have to start playing very young. Its even more impressive that all of the players are unpaid. Ill be sure to look up your sport, thanks for the link
