Massachusetts, where the spirit of colonial America is emphasized, so they say.
I myself, hail from the area of Massachusetts better known as "Goddamn nowhere".
Is that near Winchendon (also known as Winchentucky) or farther West? I hail for the Great Bay State mysef, but from the crappy area near enough boston to be suburbia, but far enough away to have anything good. Near enough to Fitchburg that everybody I know does pot.

I refuse to respond because the op assumed that the united states was the only country on the planet.
Also I wouldn't tell you anyways.

I live in Gauteng in South Africa. We are known for our stupid politicians:

And not having nukes, and Nelson Mandela.
We have Nelson Mandela. We win.

Minnesota, lots of snow, already had a snow day.
If you were really were from Minnesota, you would know that there's no such thing as snow days. My school district has, over the past 18 years or so, had two snow days. Two. We still had to go to school in when the temperature was 50 below.

We are also known for Fargo (which is in North Dakota, although the movie was filmed in MN), Michelle Bachmann *shudder*, and silly accents, amoung other things
I'm from Duluth. And the snow knocked out power to ever school and almost every house in the district. Thats the only reason we had it off. I remember once we literally had 5 feet of snow in our driveway. Since we live on top of the hill, we get all of the lake effect snow and it piles on our drive way strait off of Lake Superior. And school wasn't canceled.
Ah, Duluth. That explains it. My bad :) But does snow day not equal no school for you? Where I live, when they say snow day, it means a day where we got so much snow they had to cancel school/work, which never seems to happen.
Well, I guess it was kind of an indirect snow day. School was canceled, not because there was too much snow, but it was still technically because of snow because the power was knocked out.

Good old west coast Washington. I say west coast because otherwise people always assume I mean Washington D.C.
Ah I remember the ol' evergreen..I wish I could trade piss poor GA for Washington
Trust me, the weather down here has been getting crappier and crappier. I am more of a Florida person.
Are you kidding? The weather is awesome... or I've just lived here to long and gone rain crazy.
It does get tiring seeing day after day of nothing but rain. But some people enjoy it.

Im a cold person anyways but in GA we literally can have all four seasons in one week. at least when I was in WA it was consistent
Yeah, that's true. If you want consistency, you'll have 10 days of solid rain.

I guess I could get tired of that too. Constant rain is better that having that for weather.

Australia, Queensland.

My state's not bad. We're not the richest, or the most famous, our economy is staggering and teetering on the brink, the Government's a joke and the Opposition are even worse, and prices are always rising -

But on the plus side: Good universities, reasonable traffic, good law enforcement and low crime (where I live at least), friendly people, wonderful climate (been a bit wet lately, but that's not a bad thing) and a fast growing city with job opportunities (even if those jobs don't pay much).
