I'm maining Gen these days. It's tough, but immensely rewarding.
I'll almost always pick Rose against Ken, Ryu or Akuma, though, just on the off chance that I'm playing against someone who doesn't know better than to start every attack string with "jumping HK". Poor guys never understand how they keep getting Soul Thrown.

No I read the Street Fighter comic and yes I realized that its kinda like Star WarsCantFaketheFunk said:

I play as Cammy and have taken to the practice of befriending anyone I come across who doesn't use one of the above 4 characters.
TWENTY FIVE CHARACTERS PEOPLE!
I use a mix of Zangief and Chun-Li. Depending on what mood I'm in. Zangief is who I use in most online matches and Chun-Li is a good "Play against somebody you know" character. Especially since you get to see their embarrassment by being beaten by chicken drumsticks.
I play Bison, Guile and Cammy mainly.
I'm trying to make something decent out of my Rose and Viper but its slow going.
The first three I play because I am actually worth something with them. They've been my mainstays since 1993 or something. Would have loved to have been able to play with T Hawk, but this is fine too.
The latter pair I picked up because I absolutely love the character designs, particularly Rose.

Dan's no where near as bad as he used to be in the other games he's been in. His bicycle kick is actually a very good move and if you keep at least within half screen distance of your opponent his fireball's as good as anyone's. His ultra is also pretty good as it goes through fireballs and he can combo it in a couple of ways.Woe Is You said:

People get scared off getting to close to me with him so they try to throw fireballs at me but then I use an ex rolling attack to go right through it. Blanka also helps me figure out the timing of other players as well.
Other characters I experiment with are Balrog (cause he can rotate around projectiles), Able, and Feilong (who is really good if your not fighting some one who uses projectiles). Other than that I'm not that good with anyone else. In my opinion most of the bonus characters aren't that good. Feilong is my favorite but even with him it's an uphill battle against half the characters.

I don't have it and never will, but I know what I like, and I would play as Crimson Viper. After all, in a well-balanced fighting game, you can choose who you think looks coolest and then get good enough to win with them.
