Well I never played Sonic Chronicles so I have no opinion on it, and age and release number has nothing to do with quality, Capcom and Atari have been around a while and most of their IP is shit. And Demon's Souls wasn't terrible because of its difficulty, it was just really boring and I couldn't get into it, Atlus is good at making JPRGs, at least from my experience, they shouldn't try to make a game reminiscent of WRPGs.
And I think that Bioware is the best developer of games with deep believable charecters.
Also fuck Valve, just thought I'd throw it out there.

You didn't miss anything it may not have been as bad as most of 'Team Sonic''s stuff, but it tried its best.

It does because they've had more time to make both good and bad games.
Bioware releases very few games, for whatever reason, so it's easier on them when most fans 'judge' their catalog of games.

That's you, I found DS to be a rather engaging game and not some mindless FPS or TPA with combo spam.
Played any of their FPDC? Atlus can 'do' old school games right...when they want.

Valve is okay, they're just slow and CS still blows - can't stand to play in SP or MP.

Well I didn't like Demon's Souls, it just seemed so dry, and yeah I do like the Bioware charecters, sure you get the occasional Bioware cliche, guy who is still reeling from the death of his love interest, but for the most part Bioware charecters are well written and they always find good voice actors, except for Shepard's voice actors, wasn't impressed there.

I dont see furries on "normal" forums very often. I was starting to think that im the closest thing to a furry this forum has seen.

Plus I wouldn't call furries as a topic too much of a problem here, as The Escapist is easily the least anti-furry community I have ever seen that wasn't furry-based to begin with.

OT: Piracy is a pretty big taboo 'round these parts. Supporting it is a bit of a no-no, and outright admitting to it is extremely frowned upon no matter who you are or what reasons you use to justify it.

I remember reading your thread when you declared it to the world and I see absolutely no problem with it. He's an incredibly cute character. I dont see anything wrong with loving a fictional character, whether the character is human or not.

Nonetheless, I think that most people just thought it too absurd to be true and decided to joke about it - rather than finding any unethical aspect in it.

I hear many people falling in love with game characters(or feel attracted to them(me too)). Those are just as non existed as Bolt. Also when people like actors they like them for the roles they play not the person they are outside the movies they are in(most of the time). So they also fall for the act they play.

So in my view everyone likes roles that are played not really the persons behind the role. If that role is a flesh and blood human , drawn person , or cg animals.

Even the grey areas of piracy are pretty taboo and you can get banned for admitting to being a pirate.

Ninja'd on the second reply. Under the rules as written, admitting to piracy is not forbidden, only advocating it, but that doesn't stop the mods from smacking people with the banhammer for doing something that is clearly not against any rule, and then turn around and give the okay to people advocating porn, as long as they don't actually post it or link to it, which quite clearly is against the rules as written. It's almost like they ran spellcheck on the new rules, and then didn't proof read them for logical flaws. We also have people admitting to drug use pretty frequently -- often admitting to it being illegal in the country they hail from -- and I have yet to see anyone modded for it, although I have seen a crappy excuse that it's not against the law everywhere. Newsflash: neither is piracy. The only reason it's not an issue is that very few people on this site care about drug use, whereas we have some very vocal members who go out of their way to get pirates banned, and get away scot-free themselves, despite clearly breaking the "jerk" rule.

OT: Criticising the mods. It's not against the rules as long as you aren't being a jerk about it, but there have been a few threads where I was worried I might get in trouble for bringing up the very criticism I laid out above. I'm a little less worried now that I have my Morpheus badge, but I'd still rather not get modded for anything.

I'm not proud that I know this, but I think you meant "Yiffers" as in, "those who yiff" -- "yiff" or "yiffing" being the term for furry sex. And completely agree about discussing the ads -- it is technically against the rules, but don't ever mention a method of removing the ads aside from joining the pub club, and especially don't admit to using it.
