Yes, it's going to be another Youtube Fail thread from me. People will ask why I bother to still use it when it constantly lets me down; but the fact is that if there is a video in existence, it can be found on Youtube.

So rather than sleeping, because I am rather hyper from Relentless, I decided to watch the Dark Knight. As the late night progressed to the early morning, I thought "you know, I fancy watching that first bit of that "The Coon" episode from South Park. I didn't want to watch the full episode, just the first minute or so where Cartman is making out to be a superhero and making a hilarious speech. So onto Youtube I go. I type in "South Park the Coon" into the search bar. What do I get? I'll tell you what I got. I was flooded with a bunch of SHIT.

Every video was a "fan-made" video with various pictures of Cartman as the Coon with shitty background music, one of them even using Beethoven's 5th Symphony(which can be found in the sample music folder on any windows PC).

I attributed the shitstorm to the fact that my search query was rather vague, and so refined my search by typing "South Park the Coon opening". What do I get? I'll tell you what I get. Exactly the same crap as before, but with 2 additions: a video providing a dodgy link to follow for the full episode; and a poorly editted Kingdom Hearts video with the sound from the Coon/Mysterion meeting poorly dubbed over.

Due to my constant disappointment, I have chosen to boycott Youtube and take my browsin custom elsewhere. Escapists, I ask you: could you direct me towards a reliable video hosting site please?

I always use Google Video simply because it has a larger amount of videos to search from (being that it is Google and everything) and I usually get much better results from it than I do from Youtube.

Google Video seems to be used less, so I surmise that it's better.

MY LOGIC IS UNDENIABLE

Viddler is pretty good, at least from my limited experience of it.
'

Google video is now filled with all the crap from youtube ontop of the unupdated video library that is google video.

I just google what i'm looking for, if i want to watch metalocalypse i type "watch metalocalypse online" if i want to listen to a song or watch a guy get kicked in the nuts i use youtube.

Oh, I thought this was going to be another Bayonetta cutscene thread...

That said, try here, [http://www.xepisodes.com/episodes/1302/The-Coon.html] perhaps.

Well, here is the official South Park website, and they show all of their episodes for free (besides ones that they are contractually obligated to not show, and there aren't many of them).

As for other videos, I think Hulu has some stuff that you might be interested in.

Yup I have been disappointed my youtube's search many a time. Pretty much sucks, there's no search options like "relevance" or "most viewed" or anything. Plus the exact same thing happened to me when I tried to look for south park stuff, as well as clips from other tv shows.

Veoh is okay. It's where I go when YouTube lets me down. Google Video is also pretty good.

Oh PUHLEEZ. Fan-made BS? THAT'S the worst you've seen on YouTube? Count yourself lucky. Very lucky.

Very lucky indeed.

If you're looking for something popular, on youtube, the site will fail you miserably.

You must train your Google-fu. It is weak if you need to ask for assistance.
He must travel to the Googleplex and receive his training from Masters Page and Brin.

For south park, I use this site. [http://stansdad.com/]
For everything else, I use Dailymotion and Veoh.
