Indeed, I'm almost proud at how well that turned out.
As you should be.

(and arg, it appears that despite editing 10 times, I can't figure out the italic tag today)

I was playing Just Cause 2 today and came upon the part where the ninjas are introduced. Yes, ninjas, with swords.. in a shooting game. Dont worry, they soon pulled out their guns and I realised the swords were just asthetic.. But really.. Ninjas?!?
So I ask you: What gaming moment made you think "What the f*** were they thinking?"

And incase your wondering, the letters blocked out by stars are 'lob'
I thought you knew? Ninjas are one of those things that can make anything that is already awesome, even more so. Take Jurassic Park for example, imagine if there had been a ninja group running around fighting dinosaurs, well, I think you can see where I'm going.

The end boss of FF IX. I love the game to death, but that boss made absolutely no sense to the storyline.
i firmly agree; the bastard comes out of nowhere and proclaims himself the final boss... seriously... they could have done something that made sense.

Serious Sam all the way for giving be the biggest head ache ever. Also Duke Nukem.
How did Serious Sam give you a headache? It's a game meant for blowing off steam!

Both games I love. But I think I played some super remix version of it where everything went really fast and there were lots of bright colours. There was even a warning for epileptics.

Pretty much my whole time playing Bayonetta.
Mind you, a lot was meant in a good way, but still.

Duke Nukem was just made of pure awesome! "It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum and I'm aaaaaalllll outta gum!"

My moment would probably be my let down at the end of Mass Effect 2 with the Human Reaper. I just thought it was such a lame ending. Plus the fact that they made it so you can get like 12 guns in the whole game instead of the thousands in ME1. ME2 was still a great game, had a great story, great characters(one of my favorite series to this day), but a Human Reaper was fucking lame in my opinion.
I agree! Mass Effect 2 was a serious anti-climaz worthy of an FPS rather than Bioware - RPG wonderlads. The problem was the middle part of the game was far too long and the ending was like a burp after an excellent three course meal. It could easily have been x10 more epic if they had made it a) harder b)not a human reaper c) better music and d) completely different.

Oh, God. I totally forgot about ME2's ending. That was so anticlimactic.
I was expecting something big and awesome after watching
Tali, Jack and Mordin die
, and nothing...

EDIT: Sorry 'bout the spoiler. So used to not actually talking about modern games, haha.

Nothing would have been more acceptable than a human reaper. Ahhh! A dinasaur would have been better. And the fight was so bland and uninspiring. No sense of tension, no drama, pathetic.

C&C4. Even if you ignore the DRM issues it's a bloody awful game full stop. They've stripped out everything that makes C&C good, it's nothing like any of the originals (which isn't always a bad thing but in this case it definately is). The cutscenes really suck now as well, when in previous games they've actually been pretty good. Very disappointed! If SC2 isn't as good as it looks then I may give up on RTS altogether.

They only die if you do not gain their loyalty. Anyone who is not loyal to you can die. I had to go back through the ending because I was too lazy to get Jack to be loyal to me AGAIN(because of a certain cut scene).

I would have rather fought 30 Scions on a long straight bridge with only 1 piece of cover. =P

The story line for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I mean, I thought it was a crackin' game even with all its flaws and the odd glitch but the story made no sense in relation to the prequels or the original movies. As a stand alone story it was passable but not in relation to the rest of the tale.

Also, (and I take every opportunity to make this point), in Ninja Gaiden II, when they introduce ninjas with rocket launchers and THEN they introduce ninjas with ballistic rocket launchers. Who on earth thought, "This will not prove to be an incredibly frustrating game play feature and will undoubtedly cause misery to all those who play it" because who ever it was needs to die.
