Just curious to find out the Escapist's fears.

This Escapist is claustrophobic and terrified of clowns.
Hospital, Underwater levels in videogames and drowning.
also relationships. They just hurt too much.

Spiders...oh god am I afraid of spiders...I know its a common one but anything that crawls that quick just freaks me out...not so much as to make me scream or anything, but enough to make me back up for a moment

Easily the scariest thing out there: Mob mentality. Or, at least, what it does to people.
That and heights. I got that one when I was in primary school, at one of those rock-climbing places. My bestest friend in the whole world was doing the rope thing below me. He got bored.
Next thing I knew, it was tied to a post beside him and ten minutes had past. Those harnesses are NOT comfortable after that long.

Women with prams. They are the source of all evil. Especially when there's a whole group of them and they hog the whole pavement. They force you to walk onto the road and BAM! you're hit by a car. They also hog the supermarket alleys.

British Marines. Terrible creatures. Verbally and physically abusive, repulsive, have complete lack of respect for everyone else in society. And where I am in Devon you see them in groups everywhere. After seeing the things they've done to friends and family, if I see one, I just have to walk the other way or as far away as possible.

To an extent spiders (big and hairy ones), heights, and BMW bikers.

I hate the dark. Not because of monsters and other crap like that, it's just the shadows, and the silence, and the possibility of DEATH HIDING INSIDE IT.
This, very this.
And yet if I'm in my bed I'm completely fine in my nearly pitch black room.

There was this one time though when my boyfriend and I (before we started going out) went into a dressing room in choir class that would, literally, become SO DARK YOU COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING IN FRONT OF YOU. No windows or lights shining under the cracks or anything.

Yeah... he shut the door, jumped at me, and I damn near pissed my pants.
And boy, did I scream.

I haaaaate heights.
No matter how sound a structure is, if I can see the ground through the floor, I stick near the closest exit, hugging the damn wall, and not moving. At all.
Stupid glass floors.
weird, the whales seem almost happy...
Oh yeah OT: spiders and hights

As far as I can tell, not a damned thing. Friends have told me that I'm weirdly fearless.

"How are you not scared?"
"I don't know."
"Well...stop it!"
Same here...

does getting creeped out count as scared ? Well, I get creeped out at the head of homeland security...

Anything that wriggles or slithers. Worms, maggots, snakes, slugs. Especially slugs. My neighbour's getting really angry with me because I haven't done any gardening for months because I know the slugs are there, lurking and waiting for me to touch them, and I'll end up screaming and running round the garden.

Spiders larger then my hand freak me out, at least until i find the tennis racquet and practice some extreme tennis, "hey sis, catch!!", always wins. Also i freeze up with heights, strangly enough, chuck me in an airplane cockpit (glider, powered, ultralight) and i'm calm and cool.

Needles, Ducks and the Ocean. I'm a thrill to be with on holidays. -.-
Wait, Ducks? That has to be terrible for you yet funny for people around you.
I have to say my only fear is my own mind in which i can create the weirdest scenarios and just freak myself out.
And when you think about the ocean in a way that we dont even know what's at the bottom cause its so dark. That kinda freaks me out but its not like a serious phobia

As for the ducks, It is indeed hilarious (sp?) for the people around me, even going as far as to buying things that make duck noises and buying plastic ducks and hiding them in my bed, cuboards, outside of the toilet door, etc.

As for the ocean, its just that i cant see anything past it, freaks me out o.o
