I think you're jumping a bit much. The age gap and her age in general is a little messed up, but kids are dating early as hell these days (not that I agree with it). But rape and murder? If she's willing, then she's willing. If this doesn't end up screwing her over later, then what's the problem?

Dude, I know what you are talking about... I know (vaguely) this 19 year old who seems to only date 13 years olds... he has been dating 13 year olds for ages... I asked how old his last girlfriend was once I found out the age of his current one and the answer was 13...

I was just gob-smacked... but I thought to myself "Whatever, as long as he keeps good on his promise of waiting as he said he would"... later that day they were kissing... THAT IS WRONG! I pointed it out and people just said "What? They arent having sex"... OH! OKAY, so IF some 16 year old comes along and makes out with you 10 year old you are just going to sit back and say "Well... they arent having sex...".

Makes me want to set the guy on fire.

*shrug* when I was 20, I dated a 16 year old. Neither of us wanted anything serious, and we had a great time before parting ways. Now I'm 23, and find myself immensly interested in girls who are around the 18 mark.

Also, am I the only one who sees the irony that the OP basically boils down to "Everyone's so selfish! They should think what I think about a given situation!"?

I find it funny that at one stage in life a guy with a younger woman is "robbing the cradle", while an even larger gap later on in life becomes acceptable and even humorous. An old guy baggin a 20yr old trophy wife is totally deserving of a hi-5.

Disclaimer: yeah its not quite parallel when the girls under 18, but there are laws in most civilized countries about that sort of thing. Whether anyone is going to call someone out is another story entirely.

Op said 15 and 20, not 13 and 19. Yes, there is a big difference. Or else you could just as easily say to me:-

"When he was 19 he was in bed with a 34 year old! That's terrible! I mean, if she was 30 he would be 16! That is just wrong. She's twice his age. Just think, when she was twenty he was only SIX! She must be a paedophile having sex with a six year old!"

You can't just push back times like that. Some people are quite mature at 15, indeed this would be legal in a lot of EU countries.

Rest assured that you are not.

Statutory rape is rape, guys. Whether you think it should be or not.

OP: if you're really concerned, have you talked to the girl's parents about it? She is still a child; if you really think they're having sex/guy is taking advantage of her, then her parents need to know, and they can take appropriate steps to protect her.

If you think your friend(s) is(are) morally bankrupt, find better friends. Because you're right, taking you on face value of what you said, you shouldn't have to put up with the behavior of jerks in general, let alone those who condone an illegal sexual relationship.

I'm sure many "enlightened" folks at this board will show their disdain for what I've just said (some of them might even spell it correctly), but I'll stand on this.

Cool, is it relationship thread time already?

Does OP know the 15 year old girl involved as well, and have a thing for her?

Or is this just out of his kind heart wanting the very best for this ***** who apparently can't think for herself intelligently enough to understand this is bad and she's being exploited?

Or is that too judgmental of me for not knowing more about the situation?

Her choice. Although he's a bit pathetic - I'm 15 and would love to get it on with a 20 year old! Yet he's going out with someone my age.

Do not compare consenting sex between two people, one of whom is in mid-teens and can say "no" at any time, with a forced sexual attack.

If a guy dates my daughter when she is 15 and he is 20 I can beat him and not get charged for beating a minor. Which is what I will do. With a black sack over his head at night when he is not looking with a bag of oranges. It hurts like hell and leaves very little to no marks. It is was the USMC uses to haze new recruits. At least that is what I was told by some Marine friends of mine. And yes, I will know because I will know everything. It is my job to know everything. I am the damned parent.

Wrong. She is a minor and the parents need to press charges and/or take care of the problem.

Every guy in a game kills at least one person.
Take Master Chief for example.
He have killed [something around 1 hundred million gazillion] aliens, and he has one of the biggest fan bases of all time.

OT: He's dating a 15 year old?
Well, it's not illegal as long as she's ok with it.
But people tend to only look at the surface of these kinds of things.
People suck sometimes...
I dont know what country you live in, but in the UK its certainly illegal if their relationship is sexual.
Its also wrong. She is blatantly underage. The guy obviously knows this. I mean hell, how did a 20 year old even end up going out with 15 year old. its just wrong

Yes you have.

I read your post, and you go from "This guy I hate is dating this girl I know", to using the words "Rapist", "Child Molester", and "Criminal" in the rest of your post. Can't a couple just date without there needing to be any sexual contact between them?

If she's mature & sensible, & he's got any sense at all, then their is no reason why their relationship is illegal.

If they are having sex, then it's their choice, and their responsibility. If he is arrested, then he must pay the consequences for his actions.

Bottom line is that if they are happy, then what's it to you?

I'm guessing that the above posters are right, and there is something in this tale that you haven't told us....presumably, a jealous crush, methinks.

I love how many people have apparently forgotten what they were like when they were fifteen.

If you are going to quote someone GENERALLY its a good idea to read what they wrote... especially if you are then going to comment on what they said.

Reading the first couple of sentences would have given you all the information you need to know but NOOOOO you had something to say, no matter how irrelevent!

I didnt say "Watch me work some maths magic here and turn the guy into a peadophile.", firstly the described chap in the OP IS dating a minor!

And the guy that I mentioned was 19 and made out with a 13 year old... thats peadophilia.

IF you sympaphise with peadophiles then that is your problem... and a big one at that. But that just makes you even more wrong in general.

Nothing wrong with age gaps. My parents are 10 years apart from each other.

Erm... sleeping with 15 year olds is not paedophilia.

Ohhh... I would like you to quote the part of my post that made you think I "sypaphise" with paedophiles, because that is a pretty serious accusation and I really want to answer it.

Personally, I just think it's none of your business.

If they're both happy and her parents are fine with it, stay out of it.
