What The Hell moments in gaming

in Final fantasy 13 theres a boss you gotta face three times.the third time the giant metal monster you've beaten twice before is wrecked,destroyed looking,and missing two weapons and it has more health and does more damage...where did the extra health and power come from?you also can only fight using the leader of yaur party which is weird because potions heal the entire party,so the phoenix down is pointless because if the leader of the party dies then you have to restart the battle and since potions heal everyone in your party you shouldn't need phoenix downs.The whole Phoenix down concept in Final Fantasy 13 is completely pointless since the leader(the person you control)is attacked the most and if the leader dies the battle restarts.Wheres the logic?

I would say the final boss in Heavenly sword.

They take advantage of my lack of x-ray vision (damnit science!) by cloaking the final boss in The Black Smoke of Evil, which removes your ability to see what kind of attack he'll be using and negates what the games been teaching you to do for six fucking hours.

In Doom 3 today, there was a weird bug where all glass or special effects just turned whatever was behind them upside-down.

Very disorientating when the infect-or thing starts attacking.

your main character suffers from dizzy spells and then becomes unconcious due to an accident that happened to him as a child. So, this happens at school one day, and he is sent home.

While on the way home, he runs into a beautiful blond haired woman, who causes his brain and chest to become even more agitated than they usually do. So he follows after her, and to her apartment, being pulled there by the pain he is feeling. And as soon as she answers the door, and responds with a "Hmmm?", your character...

takes out his knife, slices her into 17 different pieces, and then unknowingly jizzes his pants from the sheer ectasy of the moment...only to finally, come to and realize what he has done, start shaking, fall into the pool of blood that has started to form, and violently vomit until he passes out...

That come completely out of left field for me, and it was so close to the beginning of the game too...and apparently, there are even more moments like that..or so I have been told...

Yep..huge WTF moment x-x;

Erm, how do you figure the leader is attacked the most in XIII? At least you usually are extra careful about keeping her/him alive, so if she/he dies the most in your playthrough, perhaps you should just adjust your tactics a bit.
Don't have that problem myself... Besides, that's exactly what Sentinels are for.

Some of the Eidolon fights are WTF-moments though. That is until I realized Shroud items work with bosses.

In Half-Life 2, specifically Ravenholm, when you first hear the howling.
Granted, more a "What is that?" moment than anything else, but it's the first thing that came to mind.

Well if someone else dies you can use it on them and you do have sentinels that take all the hits and medics to heal just one person.


What I thought weird about that game was that everyone has names like : Lightning, Hope, Snow and stuff like that then you have Lightning's sister who's name is Sarah. Really? Sarah? Did you run out of ridiculous names to give to your characters?
