Endless ocean and resident evil the umbrella chronicles. I admit it's my own damn fault. I just told myself: " It can't be that bad, let's give it a try."

I had this feeling when I bought Spore, it was a rare impulse purchase and I hadn't looked into the reviews very in-depth.

And Demigod. I can't imagine why anybody would find that game fun.

Also Condemned, which I bought due to the Yahtzee review (Yeah, I know). It was about $10 and I still felt enough remorse to return it.

Well let's just say I got pissed off enough buying nonreturnable PC games like Wolfenstein and Call of Juarez that I finally got a PS3 slim so I can rent games when I'm not too sure if I'll like them.

That and now at least I can return the games or trade them in for something else...>>

Kinda what I feel like doing with GTA 4 right now after I beat it...if I decide to beat it...0o

X-Blades.

If I had the flexibility to do so, I'd kick myself in the unmentionables for that game. I beat it, but oh man...

Mass Effect. It was two week before the release of Fable 2, so I needed what I call a "binge game", to keep me occupied. Long story short, I beat Mass Effect in one weekend, I hated it, and I never saw those $30 ever again.

Dead Rising. Yeah it's ok, but not as much fun as the other games I own.

Text is to small, mini-map is confusing, and Otis won't shut up.

Why did I buy Supreme commander? I only played it one day and it so fucking bored me that I don't even look at it now, but I still paid 15 euros!

I don't know what I was thinking when I bought RE5. Loved RE4, and even made sure and watched RE5 walkthroughs. It took me a whole game to realize how much it degraded. I was expecting they implemented most of the elements present in their FIRST TRAILER! Like the sun effects, the majinis being incredibly aggressive. But alas, racism issues occurred and added the multiplayer Sheva completely removing every appeal I loved on RE5's first fucking trailer.

As for other regrets, GTA 4. After enduring annoying missions and finishing the story mode, there's no charm in free-roaming in that game.

I enjoyed Fallout 3. Too bad it became stale after reaching max. My highly adaptive gameplay-style made me enjoy it until I realized how easy the game is using VATS and how broken accuracy is when just running and gunning.

(The above 3 games have been sold, not in stores, but to some friends who are curious since where I am, we cannot rent or sell back games)

Wolfenstein (2009). I just figured "Wolfenstein 3D was great, Return to Castle Wolfenstein was great, this should be alright". Damn, was I wrong.

Have you ever bought a game on a wim, got home played it for five minutes and thought "What the hell was I thinking? This game sucks ass"

I've had that feeling twice with Bullet Witch which is Devil May cry with all of the fun and anything that isn't a wall removed from the scenery. Also with Star Wars Republic heroes which is just terrible.
Recently I bought a game called "the Ship" from Steam. I bought it because the concept sounded interesting and because it had had a few decent reviews, but the kind with a lot of "qualifications". Y'know, like "The pacing is off" and "The graphics are a little dull".

Well, I bought it, and then it turned out to be the most boring gaming experience I've had since "F.E.A.R". And at least with that one I had the excuse that it had got a lot of hype for being technically impressive. Who the heck was hyping up "The Ship"? I was genuinely annoyed at myself for wasting money on this rubbish.

Etrom: The Astral Essence. Shitty controls, horrible camera, terrible story. Bought it for three dollars and I still feel dirty and cheap.

I got this years Smackdown Vs Raw game. It was so horrific, got rid of it within a week. Still would rather play the old PS2 titles.

A week after buying it: Halo 3 ODST.

I was expecting something a little different from Halo 3, but apparently Marines are just like Master Chief except they can deflect bullets using stamina as opposed to force shields. They can't carry two pistols at once, but they can haul around a tripod mounted minigun and fire it while running.

Firefight was well designed, but once you have done it on each level you have no real desire to do so again.

Well technically it was given to me at my birthday, but I think its bad enough to be mentioned. Beyblade for PS1. Christ you didn't even do ANYTHING in it except press the button to launch the beyblade and hope for the best. It's been lying in the back of my wardrobe for years just collecting dust now.

Prince of Persia. Though it was about 2 hours into the game where the black goo comes in. I tried to keep on playing, but that stupid switch turning maze made me hate it. In the backlog with you, PoP!
Really? I thought it was quite short and repetitive and the ending was a punch in the gut, but I quite liked the game overall. Thankfully I just rented it, but I rented it for a weekend and got the speedrun achievement even though I was shooting for 100% completion. Its cheap now and it might be worth £7 or whatever, but back then it was full price. God no.
Then again, I bought Mirror's Edge and thought it was worth full price until I looked back on it.
