The Wii - I got it the day they came out in the hopes of getting to play the new smash brothers relatively soon... forever later when it did come out wasn't even as good as melee

Mechassault 2 - Played the first one for seriously about 3 years on xbox live, couldn't stand to play that one for 2 days!

Steel battalion - The game itself wasn't bad, but I am no where near asian enough to be able to play that game properly. xD (if you don't know what it is, look up the controller that you had to use to play it)

Wait .. you are saying Shadowrun was a crap game? The one on the NES? I call B.S. on that! That game was awesome when it came out. Few games were in a cyberpunk type world, and being 8-bit it had to come up with some mechanics to make the hacking, combat, and story all mesh. Now, unless you are talking about the new one that MS put out that was an MMO? I didn't play it, but picked up the box on the store shelf to examine it a few times when it came out. But it just looked like crap, and evidently I hear it was. But also the MMO angle and MS in the same sentence made me scared, so I put it back down. So if you were talking about the new Shadowrun, sorry about chiming in there.

The old Shadowrun games were in fact 16-bit, there was one for the SNES and a completely different one for the Mega Drive, which were both excellent.

The new one by MS isn't an MMO either... unless you call Counterstrike an MMO. It's simply a multiplayer shooter, and a mediocre one at that.

Got two of my friends together and we laughed at its covers and gameplay. Then we played Rock Band. I'd say it was worth the $5.

Guild Wars. It's incredibly boring if you don't have people to play with. You're probably asking, "Well, why is that a downside? Cooperation in online RPGs is good, right?" Well, yeah, it is. It worked very well for FFXI and some other old MMOs. But it just so happens that Guild Wars has the WORST. COMMUNITY. EVER. It makes Runescape's community of whiny 12 year olds look like FFXI's mature and friendly playerbase. Stupid drama, people giving fake virtual sex everywhere, people who join and promptly leave parties for no reason other than to piss you off... it's bad alright.

And, to a much lesser extent, Spore. It was nowhere near what everyone hoped it would be. It was still a good enough game with AWESOME creation tools. Sadly, those tools and the reasonably fun Creature and Space stages are the only reason I don't wholly regret getting it. The cell stage played like a Flash game, Tribal was quite difficult if you didn't gather ungodly amounts of resources and spit out babies every 10 seconds, and the Civ stage was fun, but soulless and underdeveloped. However, I still recommend it if only for the creation tools. I haven't played Galactic Adventures, but I plan on it.

DBZ Burst Limit: I wanted this to be Budokai 3 so badly, but it just sucked. No other way to say it. Sluggish combat in a game that should be running at Warp Speed 9 = *gag*.

Quake 4: It was awful. I don't even think I need to explain. I think I tried playing multiplayer, but the god damn online multiplayer either didn't work or there was no one playing. And this was when the game was fairly new.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time/Warrior Within: I know this seems like an odd choice, but the gameplay just didn't entertain me in the least. Warrior Within tried to up the combat to puzzle ratio but still failed to hold my attention beyond the first couple levels. Sands of Time was a fairly poor platformer if you ask me. Then again, I've never been a fan of puzzles in my action/adventure games. They only serve to slow the game down and frustrate my simple caveman brain.

For me it's "Star Wars: the Force Unleashed". After having played through "Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast" and "Jedi Academy" all those years back and reminiscing as to how amazing they were, "The Force Unleashed" is an utter piece of shit. There is no freedom to do what you want, go where you want to go, have amazing lightsaber battles with sith warriors and lords, controls that let you swing the lightsaber in any direction you want and a lot of awesome guns... It's a terrible game.

Gears of War 2. Awful game, the multiplayer is alright, but the dialogue in campaign mode makes me want to shove pencils in my ears. I have also come to hate levers.

Have you ever bought a game on a wim, got home played it for five minutes and thought "What the hell was I thinking? This game sucks ass"

I've had that feeling twice with Bullet Witch which is Devil May cry with all of the fun and anything that isn't a wall removed from the scenery. Also with Star Wars Republic heroes which is just terrible.

I bought darkSector and Bourne Conspiracy without first making sure they were each worth $60. They were not.

Played the Bourne demo on XBL, so luckily I dodged that bullet. I pity you, my friend. I really wanted to buy darkSector though, so I waited and waited until it dropped to $15. Then I bought it, and it was worth every penny I spent on it. Really, it was a good game IMO. It's just that I bought it a year after it released, and the online community wasn't much to look at from the beginning...
