I am making a small site for a school project. The site works fine in firefox and internet explorer 9, problem is when I load it on ie 8 some of the images won't show up. Instead I am greeted by a transperent box with a red cross and the alt name. There is nothing wrong with the img tag it looks like this:
why wont this work? I have used similar tags (same tag with diffirent files) and those work. I first figured that something was wrong with the picture itself so I remade it but it still wont show up. all in all the site works fine but I need this to work as well. any help would be appriciated.
and before you ask the css works otherwise it wouldn't have shown up in ie 9 and firefox and chrome.
