The Brisbane Times, a newspaper here in Australia, has mocked up some images of the Tropical Cyclone that is currently assaulting the north east coast over other areas to give and idea of what it would be like if it hit somewhere more densely populated than rural Queensland.
There's a link here and obviously it's just a superimposed image over a map of the same scale.
I know it's back to front for the northern hemisphere locations but it's still interesting.
Also, it's not the biggest cyclone ever but it has the fastest recorded winds ever. Like, for the whole world.
Just thought I'd share this.
Incidentally, is anyone online going to be hit. I know alot of places have had the power cut, due to flooding and falling powerlines not mixing well.
But any Escapee's waiting for Yasi?
