In a lot of movies and a couple TV shows there are a lot of 'What the...' moments, they are plot twists that noone could see and took the story in a whole new direction. (if you have a better explanation, tell me)

my favorite 'what the...' movies are: Memento and The Usual Suspects

the biggest 'what the....' tv show is Lost.

I have to say, one of the biggest what the... moments I've had was when Kalas betrayed you in Baten Katos. It was a while ago, so I may be over remembering but honestly, what other game has the main character betray you.
