Either Ancient Greece, Rome or the time of 'Christ'.

Then I can come back and laugh at Christians BECAUSE HE WASN'T THERE!

Or perhaps into the future, maybe 100-20,000 years?

Edit: Can we take someone else? Or come back? If not, then there's no way I'm leaving.

back to the 40's so I could fight in WWII and grow old and become a grumpy old man.

Why do so many people want to be in 80s!? I lived through them and, to be honest, they were not that great.

OT: I would love to live in the 30s or 40s. Why? Because men walked around in suits calling women "dames" and just generally being awesome.

Actually, I'm quite happy here in the "now". If traveling forward were an option, I'd take you up on that, but I love my tech too much to give it up.

I'd not want to live any further in the past. I'll go for 100 years into the future though, that sounds like a lot more fun than living in an era with less of everything except poverty.

I hear you brother- 1940 for me, July, South East England. Even if I died fighting in the air, what a way to go!

Failing that I choose either 1969 for reasons stated above, or 1936, to fly on one of the last successful Zeppelin flights.

Can I go forward in time instead?

I'd like to have been born in maybe....2020 or something.

I want to be guaranteed that I get to live to at least 100

I would go back to the 70's or to the medieval era but I wouldn't want to stay there, I'd miss technology.

If the option to travel forward was given I'd do that a few hundred years to see if we have:
A) flying cars
B) been taken over by apes
C) completely fucked the world

Eh...I wouldn't say "live", but "visit" might be okay. The problem is that as interesting as it would be to live in the Old West, it would also be pretty miserable as well. Get any kind of sick, and you die. Stuff like that.

If I had to choose the 80's but I'm quite happy with the time I'm in now, Being female is kind of a disadvantage when going back in time

Victorian England

1950's California(that stereotypical suburb life)

1900 to 1940's Chicago/New York

1970s New York

And maybe 1950's New England and/or Northwest Pacific(like Washington and/or Oregon), because I keep thinking of a group of kids messing around in an old "haunted" rusty factory or something.

I'll say the same thing as I did last time this thread came up, why the hell would I want to live in the past? Life has pretty much universally improved as time has gone on. The future, on the other hand, maybe. Although I'd much rather be the one making the discoveries, rather than reading about them in a textbook.
