Battlefield 1943 is finally be coming to the PC is September (I think), as well as Tropico 3, which should be good if it's anything like its predecessors.

Aliens vs. Predator is the one to look forward to in my opinion. i do very much want to be a big daddy, but the old aliens vs. predator games were awesome, and this next one already looks amazing, and there's hardly been anything released about it. i seriously cannot wait!
Cynicism Engine Engaged.

The less you know about something, the less you should expect it to be amazing. I refer you to the cases of Daikatana and Duke Nukem Forever.

Which isn't to say I don't want it to be great but I'd advise you not to get your hopes up too much, especially if you loved the previous games. I'm seeing Carmageddon parallels here.
It's by the original studio, so expectations aren't entirely unfounded. The only cause of concern so far is that it's coming out for the consoles simultaneously with the PC.

i can't help getting my hopes up to be honest. i'm just really looking forward to it. i realise there have been several games that have been let downs but i don't want to judge it until i've played it. do you know if it's being made by the same company that did the old ones?

wait, this answered my question. well in that case i'm definately gonna stay excited about this one. i have no reason to think it's gonna be a let down, so i'm still just as excited!

I'm hoping so. I'll play the source-code out of that. Still bitter that we have to wait for it!

Other than that... Assassin's Creed 2, Pick up Cal of Juarez: Bound in Blood if you haven't - awesome fun.

Or hey, get into some older titles on Steam. That's what I've been doing!

Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and good Ol' Team Fortress 2.

Just hope Valve makes Left 4 Dead 2 fun this time.
