Mainstream Hipster music. Yes it exists. It's born when I name of a band no one has heard, trying to get them onto it, and in turn, the show me a band I've never heard. I'll be something kind of repetitive and slightly angsty, but what ever, angsty isn't always evil. Then I'll talk to somebody else, repeat the process, but they try to show me the same sounding band except with a different title. Then I go to Hot Topic for some cool band shirts and guess what I see a wall of? Indie Hipster Music. And that's when I reach for my revolver...

bands who are dicks in interviews. i read an interview with the guitarists from killswitch engage a while ago, and they just came across as absolute tossers. I'd never heard anything from them before and i didn't intend to make a start on their material after reading the interview. They were obviously trying to come across as funny or cool or some shit, but they just seemed pretentious to me.
