Add another vote to Other M. I'm one of the fans who like to think of it as a hyperspace nightmare Samus had after the events of Fusion. Considering how much M:OM apes off Fusion and what had to be going through her mind after all that happened, I'd say that the best case scenario, short of never speaking of it again. Also, was Sakamoto going through a phase during development? There's enough Freudian imagery about motherhood even the most dense people could point it out every 5 minutes.[footnote]I know Hironobu Sakaguchi's mother died before work on FF7 really took of, so the theme was about returning spirits to the earth after death. But that was beautiful and had thought in it. Oh, add most FF7 spinoffs as well.[/footnote]

More broken record time: Any Jak and Daxter besides The Precusor Legacy. Why did Naughty take that great platformer set in a magical world and immediately dump Ratchet and Clank and GTA mechanics into it, change the setting to a dark, future distopia on the brink of annihilation for the first sequel?

If it wasn't for Youtube poops, the Unholy Triforce of CDi Zelda games would be another one.

As for movies, Prometheus, the Matrix sequels, Alien 3 (not bad, but not a good way to end the series), Die Hard 4 (Hollywood's idea that hacking can blow up everything and alter minds needs to die.)

TV: Uh? Most anime filler? Dragonball GT's first half?

Games: the last ten minutes of Mass Effect 3. Nope. Don't know what you're talking about. Oh, unless you mean The Citadel DLC. Because that's how the series ends. Right there.

Movies: Star Wars prequels, but I can stomach I and II if I have to. But III? No. No no no no no no no la-la-la I'm not listening.

And, uh...that's it I guess.

By no means was there ever a third Dino Crisis game. Considering how fun the first two are, this is just a terrible shame.

And everyone knows there was only one Matix movie.

Gundam G-Saviour. God it's terrible. We fans have just written it out of our mental continuities, replacing it with Gaia Gear instead.

Lupin III: Green vs. Red is a good, interesting movie, but I refuse acknowledge it's (already dubious) canonicity. So in that respect, I pretend it never happened.

Devil May Cry 2. Never happened. Even Capcom tried to write it out of the canon.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica. A terrible game with terrible voice acting, terrible villains, and a plot that felt more like a parody of a Resident Evil game than the genuine article.

Also, come to think of it, RE: Operation Raccoon City and RE6. RE: Survivor still happened, though, because I have too much fun mocking that game's astounding lack of a save feature.

Season 5 of "The Wire" was just damn goofy, which is not a good state of affairs for a show that prides itself on realism.

The Tri-Star Godzilla, of course.

The Nintendo Wii. Nintnedo took an extended and inexplicable hiatus between the much-beloved Gamecube and the fun new WiiU, and would never jerk around their loyal fanbase with idiotic motion controls.

D&D 4th edition because... well... just look at it. All the classes play exactly the same and combat takes *ages* to resolve at mid to high levels. It's possible I'll have to pretend 5th edition never happened as well, jury's still out.

Any of Joshua Malina's scenes in "The West Wing". Season 4 onward simply had a massive uptick in the amount of scenes that featured Tobey muttering incoherently at an empty room.

...yeah, I think maybe I should be done now.

Add in another vote for Other M. The first chance to really see what Samus was like, to hear her thoughts, to have her voice-acted...and they went with serious daddy issues? The PTSD scene with Ridley didn't bother me nearly as much as her interactions with Adam. God, what a douche.

Not any love for Crisis Core here. Sad, that was actually fun, since you got to play as Zack, the only decent character in FF7.

OT: Gundam SEED Destiny, DmC, and Other M.

There are so many things wrong with Halo 4 that just makes it look like a fan-fiction game, and to be fair, that is pretty much what 343 is. It continues from an ending that never needed to be explored, the story assumed that you had read the books, the soundtrack was devoid of good music aside from one or two track, the sound effects were really weak, the multiplayer tried to expand too much to grab the attention of a large crowd but failed to keep anyone, forge was a disaster, and it was full of plot holes. The game squeezed pretty much everything that it could out of the 360, and I respect them for that, but the game was pretty poor all things considered.

The closest I've come to seeing the Star Wars prequels since theaters has been watching those redletter media critiques, otherwise I prefer to think they never happened.

Also the Aliens franchise ended with Aliens, the other movies are just sort of a weird dream that never really happened while those Alien vs. Predator things are best left forgotten.

Doctor Who, the Love and Monsters episode. Just so stupid and uncomfortable from start to finish. Didn't feel like a Doctor Who episode at all, in the worst possible way.

For movies, I'd have to say Serenity. Loved Firefly. Hated Serenity. Might have alot to do with me being not in love with Joss Whedon beforehand via Buffy, or some other thing he did... I don't know.

Games, I actually can't think of any right now...

Television, also not too sure at the moment...

But D&D 4ed. Just kinda breezed by me and my group. We tried it for a while, but I instantly had a dislike from the get go.

Yeah, I would wish Nintendo didn't make me wait a month, while trying in vain to find a Wii, to play the much more superior version of Twilight Princess or shove a still tacky and laggy motion control scheme, even with Motion Plus, down my throat for Skyward Sword. Metroid Prime 3 (and other FPSs) was the only game that really benefited from the Wii's IR camera and they tacked gimmicky sections in that just to say, "Remember, you playing a Wii Game!"

Final Fantasy XIII, its ilk and possibly the games leading up to it. FFX was a sign future games would lose the beloved open world maps. FFXII was a sign the mechanics were going to be changed for the worst (and that Squenix will shoehorn bishonens with barely any relevance to the plot into the main lead to make the game more profitable in Japan). Now FF XV is looking to be another linear single character controlled slog. Also, FFXI and FFXIV should have never been a part of the main numerical series, being MMOs and therefore radical departures. (FFVIII gets a special mention because its plot is also so full of idiot ball holding that I'm thinking the Prometheus writers were inspired by it. That story only happened if Guardian Force usage did cause brain damage and was a popular recreational drug, that most of the world population used extensively.)

To me, the FF series skipped 11 for some reason and stopped at 12. There has been no new main series games, and the best way to enjoy FFVIII and these weird FFs, like X-2 and 13, from an alternate reality is watching a guy named Spoony riff on them and pick out the flaws like a deranged madman.

Too many pinkie pies. At least this episode is self contained.

Assassins creed: The latter Ezio games. Totally de-emphasized the open mission structure a bit.
