There are quite a few shows that I'd like to see brought back, and didn't think they deserved the axe. But one show just needs to die: Smallville. It just needs to go. It should have ended at least 3 seasons ago. Now, barring some major, massive amnesiac event, all the people who should be fooled by the glasses, won't be. Lois doesn't know the nerdy Clark. She knows the guy who doesn't slouch, speaks in his full voice, without glasses. The figure that will be Superman, she knows. The whole show has just fallen apart. There is no real place left for them to go. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the shows developers, knew and understood that, and they left. Tom Welling needs to put his foot down and say "That's it guys. The show's over."

They should bring back Cow and Chicken.

Simply one of the best cartoons ever!

Also get rid of Big Brother.
I've been watching Scrubs every week day @ 6pm on E4 since Season 1, it was halfway through Season 7 when they stopped broadcasting it in exchange for BBLB.

Arrested Development should have NEVER gotten canceled, I loved that show and I really hope the upcoming Arrested Development movie will be a big hit.
Ya! In a way however, it is more popular because it was cancelled, I bet if it went for a couple more seasons, it would not only lose its touch, but there wouldn't be a movie.

Anyways, about 75% of shows should be axed, all reality shows and all of the Hills type shit.

Reaper and Life should not have been cancelled because they are awesome shows.

The Simpsons, Scrubs and Family Guy (even though I love it, stop before it's sullied forever!) - they should be axed. All have gone way past their Sell By Date.

As for those they should bring back, any of the old Cartoon Network cartoons (Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo etc).
Ren and Stimpy. *folds arms*
Also, Shark. It had James Woods playing a lawyer - 'nuff said.

Scrubs has been axed. They were actually going to be the one that I was going to say shouldn't have been axed.

As for shows that should be axed, The Disney Channel. Everything on that should be axed.

My personal vote goes to the Clerks animated series. It was lost on the test audience (who, from my understanding were actually a group meant for some other show). A lot of the hard core Clerks fans hated it because it wasn't in black and white and didn't swear. As though that was the only thing that made Clerks good.
But the writing was hilarious, the situations great, and the potential for future episodes was astounding.
I think I love you. "Who is driving? Bear is driving?! HOW CAN THIS BE!?"

Two and a Half Men astonishes me with its complete ineptitude as a show. "Ha ha! It's funny because the kid is smarter than two men! Ha ha!" Nothing bothers me more than its popularity. How can such a stupidly formulaic show have risen to such great prominence? Seriously, the theme of kids being smarter than the adults has been done to death.

Can I throw out a request that people justify these things? Two people so far have called for an end to Lost without any reasoning behind it, especially harsh considering it's just finished it's penultimate series. Yeah, series 3 lagged a bit, but I'd say it's currently the best it's ever been, and a damn sight better than most other stuff on.

Heroes either needs to die or be massively reworked. The characters are getting stale, powers are repeating too much and they seem incapable of setting up a season-arc without time-traveling to the future to see what's going on. I'll admit, it worked awesomely the first time (forgiving their butchering of logic in regards to causality) but that was because it was NEW and interesting, but they've done it to death. That, and nearly every major arc could easily be solved by sitting down and TALKING about it, rather than charging in attacking everybody. When a plot requires your characters to have the mental capacity of a 4 year old (*Cough* peter *cough*) it is not a good plot.

HBO's Rome. Only two seasons? Really?

Firefly and Stargate Atlantis as well.

Also, one more season of Battlestar Galactica would be awesome.

Rome ran out of money in production. That's why it stopped. Plus, it was mainly focused on the years where Julias Caesar was in power, and the ascension of Augustine Caesar, who while a complete lunatic in his personal life, brought a couple decades (could be wrong, trying to go from memory here) of peace and prosperity to the Roman empire. Not much to do after that. I mean, that kid was a fuckin psycho lol, and smart too. I'd imagine any enemies of his disappeared very, very quickly.

Morne

The whole course of the show (start of season one to end of series) took place over two decades. There was plenty of material that they could have used. I know about the money issues, but it still sucks that it was canceled, regardless of the reason.

And yes, in real life, Augustus' enemies were taken care of quickly and quietly after he became emperor.

Ren And stimpy should come back
It'll never happen. The main guy behind it is such a huge dick that Billy West refuses to work with him. I'll put it this way; he was fired because his work was always late (combined with him being a massive jerk) and harrased every member of the team who did quit in protest.
