Alright for those who don't know, Television tropes is an open wiki style website with articles describing tropes in movies, and it will ruin your life by sucking you in for hours and causing you to open 15+tabs. Often times, I like to see how me and my friends align with the various tropes, and I was curious if other people like to do the same.

Personally, I feel like "The Lancer" in my group of friends; despite the fact that I'm more competent in most areas than what is universally agreed as me and my friends' leader, I can be misanthropic and downright hostile at times, and if my life was part of some television series I'd constantly be learning some aesop about the power of friendship.

So as the topic states, what sort of character do you think you'd end up as if you were forced to describe yourself with a single trope?

Eldritch Abomination. It really just describes me the best. I could not do any better if I tried.

I'm probably The 6th Ranger, with hints of being The Smart Guy. Also, I tend to be something of an I Know You Know I Know, and general Xanatos Index kind of guy. If that makes sense...

I hate you... Anyway:

I've been described by friends as a Magnificent Bastard [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MagnificentBastard] in training [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BastardUnderstudy], but I don't completely agree with it [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YourMileageMayVary?from=Main.YourMilageMayVary]. Rather, I find myself to be a bit of a Chessmaster [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheChessmaster] and a strategist [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheStrategist] with a slight note of being a manipulative bastard [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ManipulativeBastard] or trickster [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TricksterArchetype?from=Main.Trickster]. However, my major weakness is how loyal I am [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/UndyingLoyalty] to my friends.

My name suits me very well, with a hint of Bifauxnen. I also moonlight as a Cute Bruiser.

I always feel like I'm the victim of a well-intentioned extremist [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WellIntentionedExtremist] who has an omniscent morality license [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OmniscientMoralityLicense].

I guess I'd say I'm Affably Evil. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AffablyEvil
Sure I'm a nice guy, but if given the opportunity to become some sort of omnipotent super-being and wipe all humankind from the face of the earth, I'd probably go for it.

The wonka, I have a tendancy to be concerned about things that no "sane" human would be concerned about, resulting in me developing an impressive array of varied survival skills just in case of things like the fall of civilization or being captured by a terrorist cell. Of course they do come in handy in situations like an average mugging.

These skills lend themselves to other tropes like baddass bookworm, also there's the fact that I pretty much always lead my groups (including when I'm just beginning in something and they're a lot more expirienced).

If I had to pick a second... magnificent bastard. Just watch me play mafia as mafia.

The Cloudcuckoolander/Talkative Loon tropes probably are the best way to describe me.

However it would be a shame not to mention the runners up since it is fun to see what tropes apply to one's self. There's a bit of Madness Mantra [basically the word Bacon (which I actually dislike eating)], a good portion Mood Swinger, some Sir Swearsalot, and a cup of Not a Morning Person.
