None. I don't feel like fighting for a country that doesn't even care about the people who DO fight for it.

I was always criticised by my section leader for being too cautious, but then again if it were ever a real situation, I didnt want my head blow off.

Im aiming for the Household Cavalry in a few months time, get the discipline in check before I try anythin a bit more extreme

"I'll see you in Canada" but i live in scotland so that would be quite expensive :(

OT: depending on the reason for the draft: a war that the government says is to "bring democracy" but is actually to secure the world's last oil i would shoot myself in the foot to get out of it. Britain is invaded i would try my hardest to get to a position of command whether that would be in the MOD or some sort of squad leader type person (i dont know how the british army works exactly but probably involves lots of tea)

(i like tea)

What type of solder would you be? (Both in role and Attitude)

Most likely I would be regular or armoured infantry. Army engineer is also a likely possibility as I have some training in construction and building technologies.

As far as general attitude goes, I'd probably stay the same as I am.

Pretty silent sniper. I guess. With a knife for close-combat.
Thats... really not how a sniper works. Also, you should watch less action movies.

I would most likelly be an air landing-forces soldier. ( know some people, I could easilly become one in no time)
I guess you're right... in that case, I'd be the kind of soldier that would flee at the first possible opportunity, assuming I haven't been turned into a human colander.

Drafted? The hell with that.

I'm not going off to fight some war I probably won't even agree with. Besides, I don't even think I'd make it through boot camp anyway. I have a problem with authority figures shouting at me and expecting me to follow orders without question.
Boot camp is nowhere near as kind when a draft is on. They have fun with people who think they can get themselves kicked out not following orders.

Lucky me, I am a veteran. I no longer have any service obligation. As in no draft for me.

I would be the heroic man two kilometres away using a sniper rifle while my friends are dying in the front lines and I am far away from there, sipping coffee in my comfortable tower, giving "support".

i would be a member of the over whelming reinforcements. a bloody long battle where all hope seems lost, and i just come in and mop it all up with all the other reinforcements. we wins and don't have to do anything

id be a field medic i think with my current education (a-level biology geography and chemistry) so i know my way around chemicals and the human body.
but if i got to choose id go for the sniper just because its the most awesome rank in the army out of the line of fire and having fun at the same time (Y) count me in

In reality, as I'm a female I don't think I can be drafted can I?
If I was I imagine it'd be some support position in communications.

Actually most modern armies have women serving but usually not in combat roles but when things get tough women some how find themselves in the thick of the fight.
