Err I don't know the size of my tv otehr than it's the old SD type and I'm only a few meters away from it from the PC but a few meters more from the bed.
It's not something they are "doing". Your eyes are capable of resolving one point from another point at a distance. In this case, the points are pixels.Guffe said:I bought a new TV about 6 months ago, one of my biggest investments, but since it was on a 30% discount, and I had been thinking about getting a new one for quite a while, I think it was worth it.
I'm pretty sure it's a Ultra HD one, can't remember, 55 inch, Samsung, has 3D which works very well (as long as the movie is made for 3D, for example the Lego movie was worthless in 3D while Pacific Rim was awesome) which was a small surprise but I took the risk.
I have never meassured the distance I sit from it, but I'm pretty sure it's between 2.5 - 3 meters, a quick google search tells me that's about 8.2 - 9.7 feet.
It's interesting this with how far away you should sit from your TV.
I heard that they stopped doing this several years ago, I heard that in the mid 2000s the TVs image has got good enought that it doesn't really matter how far away or how close you are to the TV.
