Urban guerrilla warfare from a psychotic serial-killer's perspective.

You are the killer. You have to meticulously plan every aspect of the impending death, from how you will steal the individual away to how you will hide the mangled bodyparts. The guerrilla warfare comes into it when you are avoiding police and trying to get more victims away from large groups of people.. or get large groups of people into an area where you can slaughter them all.

Of course, it'd be banned in Australia.
Interesting, but it would be the best ammo for the "Games are murder simulators" crowd possible. Then again, I would have thought the same thing about Fahrenheit, given that it opens with the player character committing a brutal murder (and it also had several explicit sex scenes), but no one ever went after it, so who knows?

Anyway, all I know is that my game would be a stealth game, taking all the best elements from Splinter Cell and MGS and combining them.

Survival horror game revolving around a xenophobic cult that has hijacked a space station.

That's just my most recent idea for a crummy video game that will never be made.

A Completely open-world, completely customizable City with intelligent citizens that have jobs, commit crimes, etc. You get to fully design a hero or villain and fulfill your goals, whatever they may be. Sadly, that would require a futuristic space computer....

I'd make something like I Am Alive or Disaster Report, quite like the idea where your biggest enemy is the city/environment itself, and to be frank I had a lot of fun with DR

An RPG, Fallout-style, based on the world of today following a major outbreak of a virus that effectively makes zombies. (Solanum?) You can create your own character, select from a variety of backgrounds and personality traits- which each add subtle bonuses/penalties behind the scenes- and start off as a survivor immune or partially immune to Solanum/the virus in their own home after the virus has devastated your hometown/city, and you have to get out safely and find your way to a myriad amount of safe havens. No place is safe, only safer. Dialogue would be similar to Fallout/Oblivion and you can use any weapons you spend an amount of time training in. Gathering valuable supplies and boarding up whatever Walmart/abandoned place you're in will be an important part of gameplay. Fighting zombies is an important part, but is less important compared to keeping yourself alive, safe, and well-stocked.

The title- maybe 'Outbreak' or 'Aftermath.'
So basically a Resident Evil RPG, just slightly more realistic, in that you have to hide. Aren't 'Outbreak' and 'Aftermath' both .Hack subtitles?

As for mine, I've actually already started making an admittedly small JRPG-style game with a point-based system (it might seem a familiar system to vets of pnp games like BESM). Unimaginative, perhaps, but it seems the easiest for me to make for now.

I would make a game based largely on agility. It would be set in a variety of different worlds types and areas, hopefully with some originality in them, if that's even possible. It would have almost full character customization, so you could choose haircut, clothing, and of course, gender. However, it wouldn't allow players to customize body parts, because I'm cruel like that. Medium breasts on female characters, medium muscles on males. No exceptions. You would also have a familiar like a huge lion-style thing, which you could ride around the world in certain sections. There would be clever and interesting ways of defeating each boss monster with the light but deadly weapons you carry around. You'd probably be a messenger of some sort, delivering messages to different countries around the place. However, war would be inevitable for some reason, and it would be your job to...stop it, I guess. Name? This game will be so awesome that it doesn't need a name...hopefully...

I miss SWAT 3..
Hells yeah.

I would make a sandbox game with a clever story in the style of Deus Ex. Or a point-and-click adventure. Or an insect-based strategy game.

And in fact I am doing :p

just a standard first person shooter that is about a real life survival situation. with a main character that has no personal training and you need to learn on your way. bad idea i know but i am tired of all the bull of these elite military types wining against mutant alien zombies on the planet Zorg

orannis my firend if the "games are murder simulators" crowd started up then i would rebutl them with the video games are "teaching us life lessons" fact. video games teach us many important things. it is just unfortunate that most of these things are violent. But we learn so much from murder simualtors. like in madworld we learn that chainsawing a guy in half is ok but it is when you get creative that things start to happen. isn't that something we can all learn from

True. Also, Fallout 3 teaches us how to survive after a nuclear apocalypse. Who doesn't need that skill?

EDIT:

Good luck with that, I'm sure it'll be released around the same time as Duke Nukem Forever.
