Title pretty much says it all. There are quite a few games that I'm still waiting for, most of them being some sort of sequel.(side note: we need some new original games, but this is a completely different matter). Anyway, Bulletstorm looks interesting, and it's a new franchise, but also, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3 and most importantly Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is coming out!

For me, the release of Skyrim will be the day I disappear from the social scene for a little bit because it's looking like this will be the greatest game ever! Before the haters call me wrong let me save you some time. Oblivion is my favorite game ever and it's looking like this will put Oblivion to shame, or at least that's what I hope. So obviously my opinion is biased. But I cannot wait for the release of this game.

I am sure Gears 3 and Battlefront will be insanely fun and I will surely buy them eventually. I am also hoping that the new Silent Hill will finally bring the franchise back to its original glory. Silent Hill is my sleeper pick for the upcoming new releases.

1)Skyrim. Totally Skyrim. The Elder Scrolls always brings innovation in a big way and this looks to be no different. Say what you want about the series but I've yet to play anything like it.

2)Mass Effect 3. Because it's Mass Effect dammit! Unlike a lot of people I loved every single change that Bioware made between the first two. I can't wait to see how they up the ante with the third.

3) L.A. Noire. I wasn't a big fan of Rockstar, I hated the GTA series, but RDR has got me hyped for this game. It really looks like they are trying some neat things with this IP.

I think that's it.
But man, Skyrim has got me pumped beyond belief. I'm starting Oblivion over again as soon as I get a moment.

I'd have to say that my top 5 are:
1. Mass effect 3
2. Dragon age 2
3. Gears of war 3
4. Skyrim
5. Can we count episode 3 as a game that has been "unreleased"? I don't even know if they are even making it. Well i can't see into the future so i'm going to play it safe and say L.A. Noire.

Dark Souls. And make that the only game I'm excited for.

Silent Hill: Downpour sounds promising from what I've heard, but I just won't allow myself to get excited for it after 3 strikes in the series, even though it's a completely new development team again.

Skyrim and Mass Effect 3.

Skyrim because Oblivion had me playing it for 3+ years (with mods of course, but still!) and it's looking to trounce Oblivion in the combat department (one of Oblivion's weakspots). No one will see me for many days when I get my hands on it.

And Mass Effect 3 because I just need to know how this story ends first hand. I kind of spoiled ME2 for myself before playing it and I'm still punching myself. God damnit I need to know who lives and who dies, no game before has made me care so much for the characters. 2 of them in particular but the rest are also good!

Battlefield 3. Not very unique I know, and it probably won't live up to my expectations.

Episode 3 also.

Portal 2: Because we have not yet had exes portal fun and dark humor.

Skyrim: I recently got Morrowind to tide me over in the meantime. Elder Scrolls is just up there in my top list of favourite series.

Deus Ex Human Revolution: having heard some more about what it will be like has certainly upped my interest.

Bastion: Have no idea when this is coming out but it?s sounds pretty interesting and fun, not to mention it?s pretty.

Other than that a bit of Duke Nukem Forever and Black Mesa Source and Dragon Age 2.

I just watched the Skyrim trailer and I have to say it looks (and sounds!) absolutely awesome. Other than that, I am really interested in Dragon Age 2, but I'm afraid the main focus has been laid on the action-oriented way of playing as opposed to the tactical pause-and-command style that I like. Mass Effect 3 ends my top 3, but again I'm a little concerned that it is moving away from RPG elements and the story seems to be getting a little ridiculous.

I also consider buying Portal 2, Duke Nukem Forever and Bulletstorm.

TES V: Skyrim is probably my #1

Mass Effect 3

Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Surprised no one's mentioned Brink yet, the context sensitive action button idea looks like it might solve my #1 complaint with cover-based shooters (being hard to get around breaks immersion)

Also surprised no one's mentioned Red Faction: Armageddon. RF had a great idea, executed it a bit poorly but RF:Guerrilla was everything a sandbox game should be. The destructo-buildings gave way more sadistic glee than Just Cause 2 did in a smaller world that didn't take finding a jet to hijack and flying it cross-continent to get to the next mayhem toybox. They're taking it back underground, boo, but the world always intrigued me. Maybe they can do it right.

1) Brink. It just looks innovative and amazing.
2) Dragon Age 2. Loving the first one.
3) ME3. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT
4) LA Noire. Looks incredible, can't wait.
5) Portal 2. Nuff Said.
6) Hunted: The Demon's Forge. Say what you will, I can't wait for this game.
