Gotta say, I'm pleased to see this thread. I've spent too much time lately fixating on how there are no games out that I want to buy... Better to put thought into the ones coming that I DO want to get.
Pokemon Black and White 2 (Black 2 for me) comes to mind first. The Pokemon games are always great fun, and I want to see how they handle a direct sequel. I have some misgivings, but this will likely be a day one buy for me.
Resident Evil 6 is the next. I'm expecting it to be solidly in the action-horror category, like Dead Space, rather than feature any sort of return to survival-horror, but shit... the Dead Space games are awesome. And Leon <3!
While it is not a game as such, since the trailer I am cautiously hopeful about Skyrim's first DLC, Dawnguard. I always felt the vampires were a little underwhelming in the Elder Scrolls games. Definitely looking forward to trying out being a super vampire.
Since I picked up the Borderlands GOTY in a sale recently, Borderlands 2. Need I explain why?
While I wouldn't say I am looking forward to it, per se, I got my eye on Lollipop Chainsaw. Hoping it'll turn out to be as good as Bayonetta. Little skeptical though. I think it might lack substance.
Lastly, the recently announced Star Wars 1313 or whatever, the Bounty Hunter one, is a fun sounding concept. Star Wars Bounty Hunter for the PS2 was one of the best Star Wars games I have ever played, second only to KotOR. A new, grittier take on the same theme is definitely worth keeping track of. And Star Wars needs more content aimed at adults, as opposed to family friendly content.
