Within the next year? Here are my picks...
Skullgirls - I'm always in the mood for a good fighting game, especially with it being spearheaded by a top tourney player (Mike "Mike Z" Zaimont, who specializes in grapplers). And I'm glad that while it's all-female, it does away with the "schoolgirl moe" character designs that are rampant with such styles of of fighters.
Soul Calibur V - This is one of those games where the more I look into it, the better it gets. The only real gripes I have is that the English voices still suck (at least Leixia's does) and that despite the game being 17 years after SCIV, no one except Siegfried and Mitsurugi actually looks older (I honestly would've loved to see a 50-year-old Ivy instead of having her conveniently stop aging). But other than that, the gameplay looks great, the visuals are gorgeous as usual, and Ezio looks to be a nice addition to the cast.
Prototype 2 - Another game where I'm essentially Carnage without the mental instability? Yes please, so long as I can still dropkick helicopters out the sky.
ME3 - I'm more eager to see how the story finally ends than anything else (especially with ME2 being as overrated as it was). Don't get me wrong, I like ME, but it was always more about the overall universe (as a sci-fi fan) than trying to figure out how to make my abilities as broken as they were in the first ME. I will admit, however, I do miss my accelerator cannons.
And so it goes.
