I'm learning ancient Greek, and re-learning Latin (since I never properly learned it to begin with). I'd say I'm at least conversational in German (just passed my qualification exam!), and I can play the piano.
And I still need to learn French at some point...DX

Well good evening to you too, jackass.
It's a serious question. Many illusionists, "mediums", etc. are aware they don't have powers but do it anyway for "entertainment" (and financial, I'm sure) purposes. James Randi, a staunch skeptic has been accused of using magic.

I am a seasoned tarot reader, and I'm learning the finer arts of astrology.
So you want to be a conman?

My most useful class right now is probably histology.
Well good evening to you too, jackass.
You are both in the wrong, less so the guy you responded to. You should probably edit out the jackass, maybe make some attempt to explain your choice and why you may or may not see it as a legitimate endeavorer.

Heck, I would like to know for myself as well. I get the impression there are defiantly people out there that think astrology is real but I see no evidence that is the case, and people believe in alien abductions and the Loch Ness monster too.

OT:

I'm stronger then I look, and I look pretty built. I am also much faster then I look. I mention this because it surprises people sometimes that I can move as fast and lift as much as I can.

I am an electrical engineer, and I ran a business for five years. I work quite heavily with automation systems mostly server controlled telemetry systems. I tried to break into robotics as well.

Lots of French in this thread, I have to learn it too though I did suck at it in school as a Canadian in Ontario taking it up to grade 9 was a nightmare as I learned nothing from grade 1-5 and thus could not manage to make it though the hire grade even though I wanted to learn. I will however be attempting to learn it as I am going to Ottawa for University but I think its mostly wishful thinking.

Further on, the saga has continued!
Apologies. I got wrapped up in something, when I started the post your post was the last on the page.

I can play guitar and sing and I may pick up the bass as well. I'm always working on becoming a better writer too.

For a while I was exercising a lot and even reached the physical requirements for the US Marine Corps (just to say I, as a gamer, could) but I got really bored of that.

I want to learn to parkour but the place I live just really isn't a good place for it.

I'm also teaching myself to be ambidextrous and I'd like to learn Spanish, French, or Italian.

If you can count Martial Arts as a useful skill. I also know how to film, write scripts, us 3D software, do folly work and such... Not to sound arrogant but I can do most stuff, I've got too many skills to mention. I'm a jack of all trades but master of none, I think thats probably both my gift and my curse in life, I can do anything but I'll never be the best at any of them.

I guess it makes me versatile but average.

I'm honing my writing skills via a novel and I practice piano or violin everyday. That along with a whole bunch of general study.

I'm getting a philosophy degree as well, but you said useful skills.
