What video game character would you save?

After looking at the "What video game character would you kill?" thread, I realized, most character I like a lot and most of the ones I hate die. But I want to know if there is a character you feel should be saved, or at least be given a better death.

i.e. Mine would be either Gaz or Captain Prices mustache. They should have been given propper deaths, not shot while rolling about on the ground, (or on Captain Price's face in the mustaches case) in pain.

I swear, the whole reason I'm even HERE is because of Yahtzee's Paper Mario review and the bashing pf the Princess. I felt a kindred spirit.

And then realized I paled in comparison. But yeah, she's stupid and useless.

Also I don't think you had enough missions with Jackson to establish much of a connection.

Gaz wasn't Scottish was he? I thought he was a Londoner, randomly shouting "'Eadquarters located!" at you all the time. If memory serves it was Captain MacMillan from the Chernobyl flashback mission that was Scottish.
