What video games did you used to fantasize about being real

I remember as a kid, how much I used to wish that Pokemon was real. I also remember trying to become a wizard because of all the fantasy I was exposed to. I am sure others out there have had similar experiences.

There was so many. When I was a kid, I imagined pretty much any game setting I recently saw was real when I'd play outside. I feel stupid thinking back on it, but I was a kid, so I had an excuse.

Still do mate. Final Fantasy 7 or 8 and Kingdom Hearts being the main ones. Oh and Pokemon. But everyone imagines that =p

Pokemon is a good one, but I'd really really love to be able to go to the Citadel from Mass Effect. The level of detail and involvement that Bioware has created in those games is just incredible.

I guess the FF series, I still often have thoughts of going all Sephiroth, summoning a meteor and telling the world to basically go fuck itself.

I guess the other fantasy I still harbour today would be being the proud owner of a Death Note

Thats easy,All of them I always wanted to live inside of a universal video game where every single video game is happening at once and even the video games are interacting/fighting with each other.

I would love this considering I find real life boring as can be. >_>

There were a few games I kinda wished were real when I was little, and growing up, added even a few more into the mix.
Back when I was a kid, I kinda wish Pokemon was real, and also wished that Digimon was real as well.
And every now and then, I kinda wish some games I have played were real, after seeing one of the endings for Drakengard, I wish that was real.

Basically anything I play. I often Roleplay in my head and use my imagination to screw around when I'm not playing said game.

Thank Jeebus for Nerf guns. Without them, I would never be able to have over-the-top imaginary battle with not-real foes (though they aren't always involved, I just use them a lot)

I still keep track of the pokemon anime and imagine myself curbstomping Paul with my Infernape.
