Here's a fun fact about Robotnik, everyone's always saying "when I was a kid he wasn't called eggman!", but actually, he was. He's always been called Eggman in the japanese version, in fact Robotnik, or to give him his full name "Dr Ovi Robotnik", is a combination of Latin (Ovi=Egg) and a deformation of the Polish and Czech "Robo" to form the name "Eggman"! Hooray!

(Was kinda afraid I'd get some baddy from a game I'd never played but everyone else loved, like them metal gears =p )

Fun fact #2: Robotnik means workman in Polish, I guess the good doctor wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty
