I can't even remember back that far.

Probably the original Mario Bro's on the SNES.

or Commander Keen.
Uhm, the original Super Mario games weren't for the SNES, they were for the NES, and the first games I played... Man, that was such a simple time. Press B to jump, press A to run... I miss the good old days.
Nuh-Uh! It was A For Jump and B For Twirly Jump! A Also made you run..

I'm talking NES. The A for jump is a modern phenomenon made by Nintendo to confuse old gamers and make them depressed when they feel old because of the sudden changes in the gaming world, thus feel the need to get into the gaming world by buying much more games! Or maybe because they figured it was better to use a round controller because the average gamer don't like holding a tiny brick and that the buttons just ended up where they thought it would be easier to reach the one button you would use the most. A new blooming conspiracy theory! Post this conspiracy theory on any youtube video that no-one would watch anyway because it's too boring to care about.

Acually the first real game i played was Pac Man in I think 1997 or something like that. I was in preschool and we had 2 computers, we had like 25 people always fighting over who got to play.

However the first game that I acually got into was SSX Tricky, the Racing genra is still the only genra that I ALWAYS like. What I mean is that I love FPS's but sometimes I just can;t stand them, sometimes I love RPG's but sometimes they just don't suit me. However I'm always in the mood for some racing.

SimCity 2000. That was eight years ago. I didn't really get into gaming until I played Warcraft II in 2004.

Good god.

The first game I ever played was either PlanetFall [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetfall] or Alley Cat [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alley_Cat_%28video_game%29].

Does this make me the oldest person on this forum??!

I really couldn't pin-point the first game I ever played. If I had to I think it was Space Invaders on some laptop in the early nighties, that looked like a small gray house.

As far as consoles, I remember playing SF2, Sonic 1, 2, Sonic and Knuckles, Super Mario Bros. 3, Jurassic Park, Aladdin, The Lion King, when I was very young. Funnily enough Virgin made really good Disney games. They give me heaps of nostalgia.

Probably Sonic the Hedgehog. A series which to this day ranks among my favourites...
Except for Sonic Unleashed.
And Sonic Spinball.
And Sonic and the Black Knight.
And Sonic and the Secret Rings.
And the Sonic Chronicles.
And Mario and So- you know what, basically the last five years or so.
