We've played a lot of games in our time, haven't we? With the large number of games in existence, it isn't likely that they were all masterpieces. What was the first bad videogame you ever played (not necessarily to completion)?

I can't remember which exactly came first, but my first bad-game memories were the demo for Rascal for the PS1 and Superman 64.

a terrible Mario's knockoff on nes, I don't remeber (and I don't want to remeber) it's name, hell there were games on my Atari (yes I am that old) better than that

Some game about sniping, but the absolute worst game I solidly remember, the one that I just couldn't bring myself to finish, was Dark Sector. Never again have I played such dross. I even managed to finish the Quantum of Solace game as opposed to that.

I had probably played a lot of terrible games before them, but together, Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes effectively raised my standards by showing me just how bad games can be.

Some stupid fighting game for the PC.

I have no idea what its called, but I always fought on this stupid Egyptian looking place and I always got knocked out of the course.

Atari 2600. Pac-Man or E.T. I forget which I played first. I think it was E.T. E.T. made no sense, and controled about as well as telling your cat to answer the phone (God how I hated trying to get out of the $%#! pits!)

Pac-Man was bad, but I didn't know it at the time. Sure, it looked almost nothing like the arcade, and the Pac-Man clone on my friend's computer was 10 times better. But you didn't expect as much back then. I just wanted to eat pellets and ghosts. So I played the crap out of it despite it's failings.

Super man 64. And not that stupid hype "lol worst game ever" I legitimately hated the 1 player. Multiplayer was alright but couldn't save it in my eyes.

The font was ugly too.

Halo.
Maybe not bad by industry standards, but I went into that expecting solid gold that'd give me head just whilst I play. I got a generic shooter set in space.

The first one that I really knew was bad was Enter the Matrix. I played worse games before that, but I was a kid, and when you're a kid every game is great.
