An NES. Which made for a real "best Christmas ever" because I hadn't even asked for one!

My brother once borrowed NES so it was the first console I played but the first I owned was PSX. Played a game called Rascal or something. Shooting bubbles at bats? Sure thing.

A Sega Mega Drive. I still have it, but tuning my TV to it is a massive headache.

First console I had was a Sega MegaDrive when I was five. I only had the first two Sonic games, but I loved it. I was devastated when it broke...

A purple Gameboy Color. It was, and still is, a beautiful little machine. I got it along with Link's Awakening for my 6th birthday. Oh, the nostalgia.

First ever: Gameboy Advance
First non-handheld: PSOne.

I got more playtime out of the GBA for some reason though.
Everyone plays more hours on the GBA then expected. You think you've only spent half an hour on it, but your game time and your mum says four hours. :)

The title says it all. What was the first console you or your family owned when you first got into gaming.
Mine was the original play station, and i had Worms on it (i think it was world party).
Uhm, exactly the same here.
Never understood how Worms worked though. Got the first Crash Bandicoot later on. Played the hell out of that game. <3
