I would have to say Diddy Kong Racing for N64, that and Ocarina of Time were the first games I ever owned but I was a little too young of Zelda and the skeletons that came our when you were a kid scared me. The cartoony characters in Diddy Kong were just my speed although in hindsight I wish it would have been mariokart.
First flash game! They're the games you play in your internet browser x3
Oh my bad, I misread the headline. The Last Stand then, go ole simplistic, zombie killing fun.
That was a good one too. The second Last Stand hurt my computer for some reason though...

Kitten Cannon. I don't care if there is no point, I could watch it for hours. I'm going to go play right now...
Ah yes. Me and my classmates used to play this at school a lot. That song that plays on the menu is still stuck in my head.

Flash game....hmm. I honestly have never spent more than ten minutes on flash games, though I do admit, Toss The Turtle had me glued for three hours once. Three mad torturing hours...for the the turtle. I was genuinely having fun.

No idea. Being "addicted" to a flash game means you play it for maybe a week. I've played too many to remember the first ones.

Fat Boy Raids The Cookie Factory I think it was called, back in 2001.
Goodnight Mr Snoozleberg was also fairly epic. In fact, I think I'll go looking for that to see if I can still beat it.

Back in school I got hooked on the mini golf and billiards games on a promotional website for life savers, and later on the interactive chat room style games at jippii.com.

The first standalone flash games I got hooked on, which I reccommend you check out, are Kitten Cannon, The Battle of Bob, and Bubbles.

Crusader: No remorse was probably the first game that got me immersed to the level of forgetting to eat and realising the sun has come up without noticing it.

I've never been addicted to the game element of a flash game, but I got hooked on the Tower of Heaven [http://www.iimusic.net/plus/2010/08/flashygoodness-tower-of-heaven] soundtrack for a few days.
Now that's some good chiptune.

I always avoided them as time wasters, then I played Captain Forever for two hours straight. Farbs you magnificent bastard, I played your game!

Can't remember its name, but it involved customising an army of mechs and running them around a post-apocalyptic wasteland fighting and looting.

Gemcraft! Tower defense game revolving around levelling up and combining gems (hence the name). Once I got about half way through, it became ridiculously easy, though.

Flash game eh? Great, I hate my answer...

The Stickdeath.com Escape From Greenville game. This was before I knew what racism was.
It's a tie between this and Madness Interactive.

On the Cartoon Network website, there was this game where you ran around some kind of summer resort for Cartoon Cartoon characters. I don't remember exactly what the point of the game was, but you progressed by talking to various characters and trading for key items. I'd play it for hours on end.
Aw snap! That game was rad! It had episodes and everything... It felt so massive! Although there was one where you had to like... Find dates for all the cartoon characters and you were expected to pair Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls with Courage the Cowardly Dog. THAT has some bad implications.

There's this one browser RPG called Adventure Quest that I played pretty religiously for a while. It was pretty in depth for a flash game, although combat was super simplistic. I haven't logged in for like... six years though.

In what will probably shock the fuck out of the people who've heard me ***** out the retail product: Dragon Age Journeys. I was pretty good about staying away from flash games, but that one hooked me.
