Lion King for Genesis, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Kirby's Adventure. I don't remember in what order, but those were my first three.

Man, it was a while ago. I'm thinking it was Street Fighter 2, if we count fighting games. If not, then it was either Pokemon Blue (rest in peace) or Ocarina of Time. I've played other SNES games before my N64 (Super Mario World and Diddy's Kong Quest, to name a couple) but I've never been able to actually beat them until recently.
when i was just getting into gaming, i mainly just messed around on my favorite levels or played games you can't really "beat" like fighters, or upscrollers. but the first game i can remember actually beating and seeing credits was Streets of Rage. i pulled that win out of my as$ at the last second, too!
the boss fired his (for some reason) automatic 12g at me, and i did a flying kick which (for some reason) deflected the shots as i flew, and then connected, taking the boss' last bit of health and saving mine. WOOOOPEE!!

final fantasy 7 because i could only afford that and a PS1 for like 3 years.i played and beat it like 4 times.and everytime it was awesome.

I beat Sonic 1 first. First "Korean" (IE Beating everything, collecting everything and etc) was Sonic 2. Haven't done that in a modern game yet, came close in Star Force, but never got a Dragon brothers or the final Mega Cards...
