Ah, the good olden days with my brother. Self-written lottery-emulation program for C64, done in BASIC and copied directly from the manual. After that, Space Taxi, on the same Commodore (because we had learned enough of BASIC laguage to make the damn thing load something from a magnetic tape-casette).

Space taxi dows bring back memories...

Super Mario World: first game I ever played. It wasn't until years later though that I would actually get 100% completion on it.

I think my first game was either zool or link to the past on the SNES. They ruined me.

Tyrian. An old top-scrolling fighter plane game for DOS or something. I played it on my friend's computer in grade 1. All the time.

Actual first computer game I played... something my dad wrote from scratch, which I remember nothing about except that he also built a chipboard box for the computer so that the memory didn't get knocked loose half way through a game... can't remember the name of the machine either but it had a tiny keyboard which was flat, the keys pressed into it some how.
First game I remember playing was Snapper for the Acorn Electron (pretty much like pac-man), also we had Sphinx Adventure which drove the whole family mad trying to figure out what to do with the lake... or something like that.

Psychonauts was the fist game to really stand out in my mind as a great game and I forgot the ones before it.
*clouts you in the backhead* dumbass, this is a thread about the first game you remember playing, not the first one to pop up in your brain.
(Beat the shit out of your smart ass mouth) this is the game i first remember playing.

Pod on PC. I was like 5 years old just mashing buttons, failing miserably, but I have the best memories of that game!

Fantasy World Dizzy - C64.
I am young though, which kinda screws it up the bum a little bit.
C64 died after, as a child, I shoved a paperclip in the disk drive.

Crash Bandicoot for PS1.

Ahhh... the nostalgia.

Whole since Radical Entertainment got their hands over the franchise, it's all gone downhill.
