Assuming your mom is like most moms and she doesn´t play video games, which game was the first game your mom tryed and failed to play??

if she is a gamer, wich games does she play

the same applyes for your dad!

My mom first tryed to play Golden Eye, wich was amazingly fun for me because i spent like halve and hour explaining her the controllers and how to shoot only to give her the controll and seing her run to the nearest wall and staying stuck in a corner haha

also my dad is a gamer, he loves Nintendo and plays the shit out of the Zelda games, also loved Turok and finished them all with all the secrets (he memorized every enemy and every corner of every map wich always amazed me!)

OH and just for the fun of it, which game do you consider would be good to get your mom or dad playing?

i would think bejewled or some game like that for my mom, she likes shiny things! haha

ok, your turn!

My dad had a Colecovision with quite a few games before I moved in with him (divorced parents) and my mom got really into Tetris.

My mom played pong when it first came out. Then a few games on the Atari, I cannot remember which ones though. Then she'd play SMB 1, 2, and 3 with me, and by herself.

Then, with the SNES she played Super Mario World and All Stars (Still does. She has the SNES set up in the kitchen).

She is also really good at fishing games, like Bass Master's Classic. Oh, and we would spend a lot of time playing Mortal Kombat II.

For my dad, that would be Space Invaders on the Atari 2600. For mom...I'm guessing it was Wii Sports. She never liked videogames, always said they made her too tense. So that's probably the first one she ever actually laid hands on.

My aunt was a big Centipede fan, and both of my parents played Dungeons and Dragons while on service. As for video games, I don't think they played anything until I forced them to do so :D

I found a ton of classic sci-fi, shooter, graphical adventure, and fantasy games in with my fathers stuff after he passed away. I remember before my mother moved us away and we would visit him on the weekends I would spend several hours at a time playing Duck Hunt with him.

I hardly knew the guy most of my life, it is uncanny how similar we where.

My dad had the original Atari, that's all I really know though.

My mom has tried Rock Band, and has hilariously failed.

The first game I saw my dad playing was command and conquer tiberian sun (I was only 3 years old) and when I was 5 years I started to play it myself! I play this game until I was 9 years old and looked for something more challenging. and that's was how I was turned into a unsocial gamer I am today.

And mom is horrible at gaming she doesn't see the fun in playing video games and she complains about the violent games because she thinks I'm going crazy and would do things like that.

My dad was a tabletop gamer. (not anymore; interestingly, I didn't know this until I was like, 15. He had never said anything about it).

Anyway, both my parents enjoyed Myst. That's about it though -- I was always the gamer, not them.

My mum tried Guitar Hero 3 and failed quite badly, as most newcomers are prone to do so =P.

The first thing I remember my dad playing was Sin on the PC, and always shooting the innocent people, like hostages and tramps. That brings back some memories.

Both my parents played and played well Super Castlevania on the Super Nintendo. It's my earliest memory of a game.
