Mogworld by our very own Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw.
I've read it 5 times now and he stilll never seizes to humor me.
Is that book as awesome as everyone says? I may have to pick it up.
Well if you like Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and/or dry, britsh and pitch-black humor, Then Pick it up, or put it on your wishlist.
But if none of the above-mentioned appeal to you, Then slap yourself in the face.

The last book I read was called The Brief History of The Dead. It was great, it had characters I felt attached to and it had a fascinating concept. But the ending was extremely unsatisfying for me. It left heaps of plot threads hanging and left almost nothing resolved, so much so that I actually thought for a moment that a sizable amount of pages had fallen out. Great book, let down by the ending.

well, the last book I read was The Catcher In The Rye, by J.D Salinger. Right now, I am reading To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee. Why yes, how did you guess I'm in 9th grade?

Finished reading A Clash of Kings (the second Song of Ice and Fire book) last week and just started A Storm of Swords. Without really giving any spoilers, I'm kinda concerned for the Starks, as they were my favorite characters in general and the events of Clash of Kings basically royally (pun not intended) screwed them over to the point that I'm not sure how they'll recover. As for the writing itself, the pacing was... streaky, you could say. 50 pages or so of good plot and character development, and then 50 pages where absolutely nothing of note happens. Martin is a good writer, and he excels at pulling out unexpected twists and actually having those events make completely good sense, and he's great at character development, but he needs to make it flow throughout the books, rather than in patches padded by filler. In short, it reads like an anime.

I'm reading this book called Before I Go To Sleep. It basically about a woman who loses her memory every night when she's asleep so when she wakes up she doesn't remember who her husband is (though he's starting to look pretty shady), where she lives and she thinks she's still in her 20's when in reality she's in her late 40's. Addictive but depressing as hell.

The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler.

In a word? It was awesome- its dialogue is not nearly as good as the film but the plot is less full of holes and its alot darker, I dare you to finish it and not go "oh, fuck".

I just finished The Drawing of The Three by Stephen King. I have The Wastelands in my cupboard to continue the story.

The book was good overall, but I felt it got a bit slow in the middle so I left it for a while. I really wish there was more of a focus on Jack Mort, because he was the most interesting character aside from Roland and The Man In Black...

Tale of the Troika.

It's... A hell of a trip. It's the Strugatski-brothers with all hinges off. A lot of injokes and jabs, a lot of amusing philosophical dives and... Just one big forsaking of reality and sense.

Not the very best those two has written, but it's worth to plunge in, either way. I also recommend Roadside Picnic, the main inspiration for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-series and an interesting little idea.

Sixkill by Robert Parker.
It was rather formulaic, like a lot of his later Spenser novels but the prose, characters and action still made it enjoyable. It also had a heavier feeling overall for me as I've been reading him since I was a kid and he's gone now. I'm gonna miss him. RIP.

Taunt (Ava Delaney #2) it's a pretty good series but there a little short. The book series before that was The 11am trilogy, again abit short but good.

Sea of Swords by R.A. Salvatore. It's book 13 or so in the Legend of Drizzt series. It's... okay. It finally reunited all the heroes, which was nice. It felt somehow rushed, but it still dealt with all the conflict and contention within the group as well as it possibly could.
It could've been a lot worse, but I still get the feeling that parts of it were written simply to please the fanbase. Things turned out just a little too well for Morrik the rogue, for one, and the way everyone just accepts that Wulgar returns without even saying hello, AND Drizzt and Catti-brie are now a "thing" really strains the suspension of disbelief.
Still, really good stuff, overall. I think there's one more trilogy in the whole damn series, but I haven't gotten those, yet.

The last book I read is The Archaelogy of Knowledge by Michel Foucault (for school, obviously). Boooooooring.

The last *good* book I read is Double Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. Not the best book in the series, but stil very funny and interesting.

Right now I'm re-reading Mogworld by Yahtzee, which I could never finish for various stupid reasons. I love it.
