If you like Clancy I suggest looking at the Authors Nelson Demille(Night Fall, Wildfire, Lions Game...good books) and Robert Ludlum which are all spy mystery murder suspence books.Agent Larkin said:

The Uncomfortable Dead, by Paco Ignacio Taibo II and another fellow, named Subcomandante Marcos.
It's a very light and extremely odd book, written by two different authors, each writing their own halves, and it's all about modern day Mexico, which might drive a few of you away
But... it's funny as hell, and literally takes a dirty stab at pretty much half the cliches in the world

I'm hoping I'm not considered too old to be reading these books, but I re-read (or listened to on my mp3 player) the first Artemis Fowl book. I tried to read Twilight, but it wasn't good enough or bad enough to keep my interest.
