I just bought the Mount and Blade collection so I downloaded the first one... played an hour and then stopped, deleted, and started downloading Warband.

Just because Mount and Blade was easy, and Warband is exactly Mount and Blade but with more stuff, more stuff that's updated, and multiplayer. So yeah. An obsolete game I had no will to play.

I'm looking up at my collection and I have to say I'm quite embarrassed.

Skyrim: I just start all of these different characters but never progress very far.
Far Cry 2: I just lost interest after I got to the second map
Bully: Scholarship Edition: I cannot get past the photo taking mission for the Greaser leader, makes me rage quit everytime.
Viva Piñata: Again, I lost interest, even though I consider it to be a fairly decent game.
Metro 2033: Just got way too hard towards the end, trying to figure out who I should shoot and who I should just try to sneak around.

Out of those, Metro 2033 is the only one that I'm actually embarrassed about not finishing, the rest I just don't care.

Pokemon White. I'm having trouble really getting into it. It feels grindier than previous games, and it's just not catching my interest, these days.

Baroque... Or well Lotro actually...
but it's an MMO so I guess that's unfair?

SWTOR beat me I suppose, but that was just because I played it less and less and didn't want to pay another bill.

Despite playing the shit out of them, I've never seen an end to any of the Paradoxian Grand Strategies, because either my nation becomes a massive blob and I get bored or I failed once again to beat the #1 power (I really love my motherland, but Great Britain in Victoria 2 can just go fuck itself).

Prototype. Hate the combat and the repetitiveness of it in that game. Story also incredibly dull and hard to get invested in

Dark Souls, fuck you Gywn! I got to the final boss so it counts as finishing the game!
Yeah, he is pretty hard at first, but once you know that you can actually parry him he's pretty much a pushover.
I know this... Unfortunately the horrible frame rate issues the 360 version occasionally gets in certain areas decides to rear its head in the most annoying way during that boss fight.

"Precise parry timing?" it says "here let me add 0.5 of a second of input lag in there for you!"

I am not playing UMVC3 online... I'd prefer input lag to remain solely in online fighting games where it is at least tolerable

I've clocked over two hundred hours of Skyrim, crushed a rebellion, stopped an ancient evil and become the head of the Mages College, kill an Emperor and become head of the Dark Brotherhood, told the Thieves guild to shove it, collected over a three hundred dragon souls, flooded Skyrim's economy with enchanted daggers and jewellery and have yet to finish the main story.

Alot of games tbh. Most pokemon games because fuck catching 600 of them for a shiny trainer card, though i may bother in Black/White 2 because increased chance of shinies.

More recently I'd have to put forth FF 13-2. Just started ding something else and now I cbfa.
I'll finish it in 6 months as I do with most RPG's.

Xenoblade Cronicals Not that the game ever proved to be too hard, it's just I lost interest. The game is long padded boring sloggy adventure, and I stopped caring hours before I stopped playing. It's a good game, but I just simply would not finish it.

Mass Effect 3 - I couldn't get myself round to finish it because there were ending spoilers everywhere that I thought "whats the point now?"

Deus Ex:HR - I got bored when I got to the part where you are sent back Shanghai for the second time.

MGS2 - Me and my friend were supposed to complete it together but we havn't played it in months now. We completed MGS1 though in 9 hours the day before which was pretty cool

From Dust - Was just broken, annoying, and I didn't want to see the same. damn. cutscene. over and over again when I needed to restart. Got so annoyed with it I actually uninstalled it.

Hack Slash Loot - couldn't ever beat the first level usually, so got bored of trying. A better (Free) version of this game is Desktop Dungeon (or something like that).

Frozen Synapse - I wanted to finish it, and am on (I think) the end level, but just can't.

Gish - was just annoying, uninstalled it after a few levels.

Skate 3 - Was more fun to just skate around than do any actual missions.

I can't remember any others, but those were the five most recent ones I believe.

I feel your pain, brother. There were a few ps1 games I never beat because of the difficulty, and Rayman was one of the worst. As far as I can remember I never made it past the first band land level without cheats.

I intend to give it another go one of these days, as I've found that a lot of games I used to find ridiculously difficult, I can now breeze through with little trouble.

OT: I started devil may cry 3 a couple of months ago, and it's pretty freaking hard, so I've put it on hold for the moment as I have a pile of unplayed games to get through. But I do intend to go back to it at some point.

Dark Souls. No real reason. I think I just started playing something else at the same time, then got too absorbed into that and started playing that instead.
That and I'm at Blighttown at the moment. 'Nuff said.
It's a good thing you can skip Blight Town entirely if you so desire. :D

OT: There are plenty of games I am yet to finish, but there is one game that I have actually failed to complete and will never attempt again, namely Ninja Gaiden for the original Xbox. Almaaaaaaaa....

Skyrim. I got SO fucking bored with that game. The amount of uncaring I have is truly legendary.
The same goes for me, I can't even remember at which point I quit, I was THAT bored. Also, GTA Vice City and San Andreas. For the former, I couldn't for the life of me complete the Hilary mission where you have to race him. In the latter it was I think a Wu Zi Mu mission but I'm not sure.

I also couldn't complete my second run of ME 2. I found out that I dind't care for the characters that much, and the stupidity displayed by Shepard also annoyed the hell out of me.

Only one I can think of is Duke Nukem: Forever. Got really far into it, and then told myself "You know this is shit, stop forcing yourself to play it". So I turned it off and haven't played it since.

Ummmm I never finish any of my games...I guess that makes me a compulsive game purchaser but not game player.
