So what was the last film you traveled out to see? Did you enjoy it? How would you have fixed anything you don't like? I just saw Breaking Dawn part 1, and I'd say I enjoyed myself. I went with my sister, also, any other weird theater habits? I don't buy popcorn much, and I always want to sit on the top row for some reason. Enough about me what about you?

I saw Hugo yesterday as part of an annual Thanksgiving movie going.

I liked it a lot, interesting plot-driven story with some cool plot devices, but a tad bit long and (given the theme) I would've preferred it if there was less talking and more silent story telling.

The last movie I saw in theaters was The Expendables. It was worth it, but I wish there was more Bruce Willis in that movie, and less story. I always sit in the back top row of the room,.

I went to see 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' and very much enjoyed it, my only particular gripe being with how manipulative and insidious they made the child version of Kevin to be. I can buy him acting like a psychotic, Nihilistic, smartass at 15 but I don't really buy into a 6/7 being so cerebrally cunning or malicious as they made him out to be, but other than that I really liked the film.

The remake of The Thing, twas ok. I was very much surprised when the black guy wasn't the first to die, but not surprised the woman survived.

Jeez, I haven't been to a movie theatre in a long time. While I think of what movie it was I saw last, I'll mention that I have to sit on the back row 'lest some ignorant child come and insist that kicking the back of my seat is more entertaining than watching the damn movie. Also, while I don't trust movie theatre candy because of it's habits of being stale and gross, I DO love me a giant tub of popcorn. Granted, I'm not fond of drenching it in butter because then it turns more to stew.

Now that I mention it, the last thing I saw in theatres was either something like Green Lantern or Super 8, both of which were really good movies, but they also came out so long ago that I feel like I shouldn't be part of this thread because hell, I don't even know what's out nowadays BESIDES Twilight-related products.

I go to theatres 3 times a month. Last week I saw In Time. I posted a review of it on my blog too. Not a bad movie per se, but not that good either.
I love watching movies in the cinema... It's... Magical. Which is why I want to be a movie director.

EDIT: Oh, actually the last movie I saw in theatres was Paranormal Activity 3. I watched both the same week, so I got confused. I liked PA3 better than PA2 though.

Why would I say a movie in a movie theater? Are the people in the theater blind? [/smartass]

OT: Heck, it's been a while. I think the last one I saw was the last Harry Potter.

Just saw Puss in Boots not too long ago.

It was pretty good, considering it was a Shrek spin-off.

The last film I saw was The Muppets yesterday. It was adorable, and I liked the nods to the fourth wall. I only occasionally buy popcorn, and sometimes I like to go to the movies by myself. I prefer sitting in the upper-middle, and I like going in the middle of the week (and mornings), when it's usually not as crowded (and costs a bit less).

Just saw the immortals last night huge waste of time and money, I did go in there expecting it to be a big dumb action film, but I wasn't prepared for just how insultingly one dimensional the movie was... needless to say I am disappoint

...Fast Five. I liked it...Brother took all of my candy though.
I saw that movie on a plane and... let's just say I didn't last five minutes.

I just saw J. Edgar and it was really good. It gets slow toward the end, but ends right when it's about to over stay its welcome.

Before then, Drive. Another really good one. Painfully awkward at times, but then gets really exciting. I like to think there's even a certain level of ambiguity at the end.

Fright Night. It was an alright movie.

Me and my friends caused a bit of a commotion when we laughed out loud during the fight scene after the car chase. The vampire face just looked so bad. and when he got impaled with the sign, the way he flailed was just hilariously bad.

I still liked it.

The last time I went to the theater was to watch the 24 hour Harry Potter marathon that ended in the midnight premire of the 8th movie. I got to the theater at 3AM and left at 3AM and I didn't sleep at all in that time. It was an absolutely amazing experiance and the 8th movie was awesome so it was well worth the sleep deprivation.

Captain America: The First Avenger, I mostly just go for the big sci-fi, superhero, and fantasy films. Either by myself or with my brother because I have no friends (Lol?). I kind of want to see The Muppets and Tintin though, but I hate it when there are annoying kids in the theater. Nearly ruined my experiences with Wall-E and Captain America, Transformers 3 was already ruined anyway though...
