The very sad and brilliant portrait of lost hope in a small town, The Last Picture Show. Saw it months ago for the first time and watched it again tonight. It was even better on second viewing.

Dr Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb

a brilliant comedy made in the 1960's about an insane US air force general launching the US b-52 fleet to nuke russia in order to stop the 'international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify our precious bodily fluids' (a.k.a water fluoridation) and the president trying to convince the drunk rusian president the bombing is a hoax while relying on an equally insane titular doctor with an evil right to try and stop said bombing because the soviets made a doomsday device (a cobalt bomb i think) but forgot to tell everyone.

Er, no "about", just "last movie you watched".

But anyway, I saw the Hallmark original A Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart. Better than it sounds. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BetterThanItSounds]

Damn you I need to get around to watching that.

Well I'm currently watching Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone. Guessing that counts.

True Grit, didn't like it. Main character annoyed the shit out of me. "I'll get my lawyer!" Shut up you little shit, he can blow your god damn head off at any time he feels like.

"Inception." Original, confusing, good actors. It's like "The Matrix" just with practical instead of digital effects.
Theater-wise, "Tron: Legacy." in IMAX 3D. C'mon, you can't look at that movie and not immediately think that it's great for 3D. It was my first 3D movie (I did not see "Avatar" in theaters) and now I can't see any other movie in 3D because everything else will be a step down from that.

Taxi Driver

Shame I waited this long to see it. Enjoyed the movie and liked the messages it had.
