The other night, I was on the cusp of falling asleep just as this "great thaw" that is currently gripping Scotland now kicked in. I live on the bottom floor of a four-storey flat that had some serious ice hanging off of it. Now...just about to fall asleep, I was, when some ice decided to fall and hit the ground outside my window.

Bricks were shat and I couldn't sleep for three hours due the adrenaliine in my blood. All because some water decided to troll me by melting and hitting the ground at high speed.

It was worse than that falling sensation thing that happens when you try to sleep sometimes >.<

Um, well, the other day I was at the health department in the mental health area and this one guy came up to me and was like, "Give me your phone number." I said no, sorry, and he was all "No. I need your phone number. Give it to me." He started following me so I got the fuck out of there.

That was pretty scary. :\

Scared me worse overall? An Apache came right over our barracks once and unleashed a barrage into the live-fire area two miles down the road.

Scared me recently? Fucking STALKER. Goddamnit, I can barely play some areas of that game because of the invisible bloodsuckers and those creepy floating white eyes.

It's probably not my last one but the last one that I recall was seeing The 4th Kind. Buh.

Edit:
Yea um don't go past the Legion safehouse near the radioactive city to the South. I was walking along exploring the hills and all of a sudden the danger symbol started flashing. I froze like a deer in headlights then proceeded to flail about looking for what was preparing to attack me. After about 15 seconds I got stampeded by Ghoul Reavers. AGHCGHKK!!

Surprisingly, it was the talk on symbolism in Extra Cedits' video: Symbolism 101. The talk about the 'Self', 'the Uncanny', and 'the Other' really started me thinking, and it's a pretty scary set of topics after that.

The scene from The Shining when Wendy walks in on the guy getting a blow job from the guy in the fursuit. Creeped the poo out of me.

It's snowed a fair bit in the past couple of weeks, I was on the way to my boyfriend's and without warning I kinda drifted round a corner. A scary experience when you've only been driving just over a year.

It was before I knew how to use a toilet, so a pretty long time ago and for no special reason, it's just what very young humans do. That's why we have diapers.
After I got out of that age, never again.

Edit: Oh, changed the title of the thread?

Okay, ignore the part above. I suppose the last thing that scared me was when I read the part in Metro 2033 where Artjom is on the surface and is stalked by these weird monsters. For some reason they really creeped me out.
I WANT THAT BOOK SO BAD!!!! RAGH! Hopefully I can get it for Christmas. [sub][sub][sub]And pigs will then fly.[/sub][/sub][/sub]

I am still being scared right now by it. My first university exam is in a few hours and I'm on the Escapist while I should be studying!!
Oh boy, join the club =/

Eh, I don't like being scared, so I avoid horror movies and games. I guess the last time was when I was playing Bioshock 2 and I had to restore the power in a very dark and creepy place, with a mad scientist enclosed in a tube with me, who, I assumed, would come bursting out at any given moment.

I haven't played since, though mainly because I got distracted by exams and other games.

.....Like what?
I have Avast, and if I click on something containing malware there's this loud DUH DUH DUH A THREAT HAS BEEN DETECTED and a red box pops up in the corner.

Cue spamming the red "X" button.
