Kirby's Epic yarn. I haven't been so joy-filled by a game as i was in this one during the first world.

I think the main games that make me genuinely happy are music games, now that I'm thinking about it.

The last game that made me feel joy was Chime, I think. Very beautiful, immersive game that is. After that I'd say Audiosurf, just because of the songs that I play tend to make me really happy: even more-so than just listening to the music on it's own. And thirdly would be Guitar Hero. Not so much for the game itself, but because of the good times playing with friends or family.

Just finished Hitman Blood Money last night, and the final misson Requiem just made me fall in love with gaming all over again.

When I tried the Psychonauts demo.
I was just sent back to the old days of Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and all those other epic platformers. Y'know, when games weren't always about realism and being competitive, but when they were about that thing... Oh, right, fun.

Stupid sister Steam gifting it to me but then not allowing me to play it until my birthday so now it's sitting there installed just taunting me...

Sereiosuly underated but about two nights ago

Completed Castlevania Lord of Shadows - and was totally blown away

I also real;llly enjoyed the story in REACH, yes I knew how it would end, but it played like a mini movie, you really did feel a part of a last stand. Awesome stuff by Bungie!

It left my face about two hours back, as of this post, when I stopped playing Enslaved, to read some more of Hobbes' Leviathan. Oh, how I wish I could be on an odyssey to the west in a ruined cityscape live and lush with vegetation with relatable characters and a fascinating and only a little tedious combat system. But, no, I have to find meaning in a mathematicians description of what comprises the components of a commonwealth (Latin civitas, thank you Thomas)...But, its not so bad. Two different kinds of interesting, I suppose, though I certainly get an actual joy out of the former, and more of a fascinated satiation of curiosity from the latter.

Well, yesterday I was playing a combat mission on Medal of Honour. I was being a take-down ninja. The enemy were trying to swarm on the objective and getting massacared. They got the 1st one after about 5 mins, then I went on the counter attack. (not something the game mechanics encourage)

So, anyway... I got a deadly score chain up which I took as offensive actions. I just kept raining hate down on them. I felt pretty awesome getting 47 kills for 2 deaths. Almost, single handedly winning the match. HAVE SOME EXCORCET BITCHES!

While its regular MM gameplay can sometimes be slightly lackluster, I must admit that Halo: Reach's high points are incredible, and when multiplayer gets crazy awesome it manages to be crazy awesome. The last time I was home from school, I pulled off this [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=12728814&player=sdnomdE] crazy skyjacking stunt.

In other games? I guess I've had a ton of fun playing Marathon: Durandal recently. Being a long-term Halo fan I figured I'd give Bungie's big '90's FPS series a shot. And wow that stuff is well-written.

Last night when I was playing Dead Space. Room all dark and headphones on, and one of those motherf*ckers jumps in front of me. I smash him with my gun a bit startled, back up and shoot it. Another one comes. Clip is empty, I need to reload. I turn when I am reloading to see if anyones over there, and all I see is Necromorph which ate me 2 seconds later. I thought that was awesome.

The other day when I was playing Resident Evil Zero. I was on Danger status and had only 1 shell in my shotgun. Aimed up and boom, took out 3 zombie heads. This was followed by me yelling at the screen, and I quote:
"Yeah ************! How does that sweet sweet buckshot taste you fucking assholes!"

In contrast, last time I experienced pure anger in a game was in Resident Evil 5 about 5 hours ago. Accidently sold my Jailbreaker right after I upgraded it. I had a mini meltdown.

I experience joy lots of times while gaming. That's why I game. I don't play because it's a chore since I don't need to buy every game ever, especially ones that I'd consider samey, brown and boring. Why buy/play a game that you find boring anyway?

When I was first playing gothic 4 and I just looked at the scenery for a while and then laughed at the awful witch?s voice. That was more than a week ago though; the last none game related joy has been for the last couple days when I was reading Beanworld.

There will be much joy when I get Little Big Planet 2.

Red Dead Redemption: Living with my family on the ranch. Somehow, that was just so memorable and so wonderful.
