Most recently... a last saterday (15th of Jan) when I FINALLY got hold of a copy of Wild ARMs2 (since it was never released in Europe... gods know why...)
Before that, the release of Fallout 3 (at least, when I got hold of a copy a few months in after most of the bugs had been sorted. Was very iffy to begin with due to my love of the Fallout series and how 3D-ness seems to destroy awesome games. F3 made me happy in that respect)

Beyond now, my next bundle of joy will definitely be Diablo 3.

With all the realistic shooters and whatnot, joy is certainly more hard to come by these days. My definition of joy would be Just Cause 2 or Saints Row 2. The smile literally never leaves my face.
I'm with you on that one, and I'll add Subvein [http://subvein.net/?ref=WOCKone]

The Ending of Castlevania: LOS, I'll literally say nothing about it, but my god just buy the game and beat it!

Just finished Hitman Blood Money last night, and the final misson Requiem just made me fall in love with gaming all over again.
I agree. Beautifully executed, especially that level.

Dead Rising 2 - realising that combining the two most useless weapons in the game (jewels & flashlight) make a LIGHTSABER.

Also playing as the cops for the first time in NFS: HP and destroying the other guys.

Playing Kinect Sports with my Mom.

The hilarity of beating two people online together as a team was more than enough to ignore my hatred of sweating (which is why I like swimming more).
And it's one of the few times I can remember my Mom playing with me on the console.

Yes, it was a casual game. Screw you all.

Doing an inverted takedown in Batman Arkham Asylum. I only bought it the other day and am loving the hell out of it.

Yesterday when I was playing Mount & Blade: Warband. I'm really addicted to the game at the moment and i'm having a lot of fun creating and building my own faction.

Alien swarm. Ended up being the last one alive with next to no ammo and even less hitpoints. Won it buy rolling into the finish area just as the doors opened (Rydberg reactor if you're wondering)
I'm with you there. Ran out of minigun ammo, turret had no ammo either, about 20% health left... But I made it :)

All the other players were like "NO WAY!"

Playing Fable: The Lost Chapters for the first time in three years. The nostalgia came rushing back, and I couldn't stop grinning - I was rediscovering that epic world all over again.

even though it suppose to be gritty and realistic,
COD BO had some moments of "FUCK YEAH" shooting ppl while going down a zipline, if you have seen Shoot Em Up, u know what i mean,

Recently i played bioshock and I smoted Fontaine on the first try, felt pretty badass.

but in terms of just forget reality joy, Prototype has that in heaps

Call of Duty 5's Nazi Zombies. I mean, it was the times before the name 'Call of Duty' become so cocky. After that, it's 'good graphics-shitty gameplay' (i still liked the MW2 and BO though..)
