lol...portal references. gotta love them.

The best physics I've ever seen were in Crysis. Shoot a tree, it breaks where you shot it.

Yeah, I can't really think of anything that did it better than crysis.

I liked Brink with its S.M.A.R.T. system (Smooth Moving Across Random Terrain)

I thought the Physics in Metroid Prime were top notch.
(looks at power beam and plasma beam)
Space Pirates never knew what hit em.

The physics were good in gta 4 considering how the cars handle like your driving through foot high snow and how Niko collapses to the ground if something so much as passes by his general location and takes bloody forever to get back up.

Half Life 2, or Dead Space. The only thing Crysis had was destructible buildings and trees, however the physics sucked.

I honestly think Portal takes the cake on pure physics. No other game does what it does.

Well seeing as nearly all recent games with physics engines use Havok, there's not really much to compare it with. I think Crytek have their own engine though.

The Force Unleashed didn't really have the best physics, but you could influence them in the best way. DA FORCE

Well, GTA IV. I really think the game felt a lot better than the previous games. Felt more like controlling a real character.

Red: Faction Guerilla was pretty awesome, if only just for the destruction.

And Crysis, 'twas pretty good.

And, of course - Portal, Half-Life 2 etc - Valve's games, that run on the Source engine.

I'm playin' my ninja in Fallout 3 and, O no!, a Yao Guai got the jump on me!

So I punch him in the face. What happens-- it's good-- his face flies off-- falls like a pickle-- and his corpse goes straight up out of view. 100% vertical. The ground is completely perpendicular to his ascent. UP!

Confusion occurred. I said, "Well, okay, I need to log off anyway, I'll just get my reward for, uh, 'fixing' Tenpenny's ghoul problem."

I fast travel to Tenpenny's tower. I ***** at what's-his-face to open the gate. A faceless Yao Guai is inside waiting for me.

FUCK YOU, PHYSICS!
