What was the most annoynig character in a game?

Every one of the 'peppy' girl characters from Final Fantasies. They bring this same tired character back every time and then make her worse.
Selphie, then Eiko (who while annoying, was only 6, so she acted her age), Rikku, and ugh, I want to strangle Vanille so far.

It was laughably bad with Rikku who was described in the manual as the bubbly/cheerful stereotype and then she did nothing but whine.

Everyone hates Hope but, apart from his stupid name, I haven't found him that bad. He's a kid trying to deal with his life falling apart. I haven't seen anything past chapter 7 yet though. (Ooh, this was an upbeat first post)

Least Yuffie, whom all were based on was a up beat Ninja princess who only complained about people stealing what she rightfully stole and missing out on beating the crap out of something(one).

Ya know what sarge? Maybe if you stopped yelling at me so much and you were less bossy then maybe I'd go take Burger Town and maybe I'd take out the guy on the computer launching predator strikes on our air support. But when you constantly yell at me to do things even when I'm doing them it hurts my feelings and that is the exact opposite of what this relationship needs, are you even listening? WHAT? No I haven't used the laser to paint targets for Honey Badger, this is exactly what I'm talking I'm leaving, maybe Captain MacTavish will give me the respect I deserve.

Someone who generally pissed me off though? That disembodied voice from Shadow of the Colossus. "Get onto the Colossus' back by deceiving it." and "It's armor looks brittle." How does telling me it's armor looks brittle help? It doesn't the only reason I managed to kill Colossi number 3 was because I happened to be standing in the right place for it's armor to break. Don't even get me started on that Moonspeak it uses to talk.

Dude EVERY COD game is like that. You're always the one who has to snipe the German officers, personally put the explosives on the Panzer across the field, hold the doorway, assualt the machine gun nest, take Burger Town, blow up the tank/apc/artilary/AA gun/vehicle with your bazooka/panzerschrek/anti-tank gun/javelin/generic rocket launcher, disarm the bomb, and win the war in general. Now this is fine in games that the main character is supposed to be "the One" who saves the world and is capable of doing anything that is needed to defeat the villian, but when your suppose to be some random Russian/British/American private... why can't someone else go do some work once in a while? I'm so used to be told what to do, I don't always remember the character's name; instead whenever I hear the commanding officer say that ANYTHING needs doing, I just go and do it 'cause I know he wants me to do it.

OT: Pretty much any Commanding Officer from any war/shooter game unless they are badass and actually do something other that yell at me.
