Be it singleplayer or multiplayer.

Mine was in Halo 3 back in the day. It was a match of big team slayer on Sandtrap. I planted a land mine in the gorge between the two buildings at the start of the match, it somehow managed to remain there until the very last moments of the match. At which point two enemy warthogs with 3 players each drove past it at the exact same time netting me six kills at once. I had no fucking clue as to how I just got a six kill medal out of nowhere (was just cruising around on a chopper at the time) until I watched the replay and saw the epicness of what I had done.

Well i'm so awesome it's hard to remember all of the awesome kills that are so good I leave others in awe of my awesomeness. So i'm just going to go with a particularly good one today :3

So I was playing Quinn in League, I was pretty fed but my entire team just went in 5v4 without their fed carry and got destroyed. Lol solo queue >.>

I was hanging around mid in dragon side river about to recall to help defend mid then their Nidalee lobbed a spear into the bush I was in and half healthed me. She obviously didn't expect her random bush checking spear to land so she took a second to chase me down river. Since nobody escapes Nidalee I ran away, dodged another spear then immediately swapped with Valor jumped in, pressed buttons and melted her face with her gettig a single other hit in. Quinn has DAMAGE. Skystrike OP

But the pain train doesn't stop there, I moved into the bot bush, started to recall and the fucking Vayne came out to finish me. I kept calm, proc'd Harrier, blinded her with Q, jumped away, proc'd Harrier again and she just melted.

As much as people ***** about a ranged AD Carry 's ult is turning melee and as valid as that point may be, Quinn can fucking DUEL!

Buy Static Shiv, turn Valor, enjoy multiple procs forever because what charges stacks? Movement and attack speed. What does Valor massively increase? Movement and fucking attack speed baybee! Not to mention the hilarious escapes

"That's why I have my R baybee, I leave you in the dust goodbye!"

I killed a man with a sniper on Call Of Duty while spinning around.

Impressed? Of course you are, you're only human after all.

In Counter-Strike Source. I was running into a room when a flashbang went off, blindfired with a P90, and lo and behold, 3 kills without even looking. Luckiest spray and pray ever.

While I've probably done better in CoD at random moments, the one that always sticks out as my absolute favorite kill came from my very fond days with AvP2 for the PC. The target: Marine in an Exo-Suit in multiplayer. The killer (me): a predator. The weapon: Remote Bombs.

Now, as anyone that played the AvP2 multiplayer knows, marines in exosuits are broken as hell. They've got a rapid-fire lazer, missles, a triple-barrel minigun, and a flame thrower. Add to it that no predator vision modes can see them clearly and the fact that the Exosuit can take a lot of damage and they're just, in general, an absolute pain for a pred to try and take down. Pretty much the only thing that's particularly effective against them are remote bombs.

Now on that note, here's a bit of info about remote bombs: you throw them and they fly in a line until they hit a surface and wait to be detonated or they blow-up on contact with an enemy or they'll blow up if you switch weapons. Because of this, when you throw your last one it will auto-detonate in the air a short distance in front of you because you're forced to switch weapons, given that you're out of ammo. Another thing to keep in mind about them is that the line that they travel along isn't exactly straight in line with your crosshairs, they actually fly at an angle to the left of your crosshairs. This means that you not only have to compensate your aim to adjust for this angle, but if you're throwing at a moving target, you've also got to lead them appropriately.

Anyways, to the actual story now:
I was on top of a building and there was some jackass in an Exosuit bunny-hopping around (being in the exosuit gives you really high jumps). Evidently he had already been roughed up quite a bit, because it normally takes about 3-4 bombs to kill one...I only had 1. So I lead the bastard, adjust for the angle, and throw it. As fate would have it, he bunny-hops into the air and as I'm forced to switch weapons, the bomb auto-detonates an inch in front of his face, blowing him to smithereens. Might not seem like much, but it really was one hell of a shot, all things considered, and that's why it's my favorite kill of all time in a shooter.

See problem with this thread is that these things usually don't seem so great unless you were there, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

I was playing Il-2: 1946... Well see now's the first problem. Basically it's this:

So now that you have an idea what it means to get a kill in this game, I can begin.

Long story short, I took off, and off in the distance I saw three planes, one behind the other. The middle one was shooting tell-tale yellow tracers of a Bf-109 (I was flying a P-40, so that means one of my guys was getting shot at), and the plane behind it wasn't shooting, so I figured that my guy had two (!) bogeys on his tail. Thankfully he was doing a good job at dodging enemy fire so I throttled up, and made a shallow dive at to save my mate. By the time I reached them he was flying directly at me and the moment I passed my teammate I opened fire head on on the first plane. By some stroke of luck (it's a difficult shot afterall) I shore off the wings of the first guy, and I quickly snapped the rudder the other way to try and scare the other guy. Well his engine stopped the moment my burst hit him, meaning I had scored two kills in two seconds, not bad if I may say so myself.

In Halo 3 on The Pit, I threw a long plasma grenade just as a rocket was coming at me. I had a gravity hammer and hit the rocket mid air, it flew off in the direction of the plasma grenade and the grenade hit the wall and exploded before the rocket got there. The rocket then moved in another direction and got a double kill.

I still have it in theater mode I think...

Hmmm I can't recall any good ones, so I'll say COD4. I was using the m21 sniper and I headshotted a guy who was sprinting with the first shot. I miss cod 4, and halo 3 for that matter.

Isn't leading a target pretty commonplace with most shooters now? Still, fun story, it's like something out of a movie.

For me I'd say it has to be one of the Halo games where you step onto one of the glowy things (man cannon?) that hurtle you across the map and you zoom in with a sniper while flying, and score a headshot on someone else doing the same thing from the other end of the map.

CS 1.6. de_dust

During a practice inter-clan scrim I popped out and back in of the side tunnel near the catwalk. Shot a deagle round just for the fuck of it as I wasn't aiming at anything and was looking at non-wall for only a half second.

Headshot. Awper was in that boxy corner nest above the underpass.

Yeah, I think I overplayed it without explaining it, or something. I mean, it's not just the leading. But I won't try.

TF2, and I'm gonna get a video to show you exactly what happened
This isn't me, the teams were reversed and I didn't get that scout at the beginning, but that shit is HARD to do.

I was going through the theatre mode in Halo 3, seeing if there was anything interesting on my last playthrough.
I definitely found something.
I was doing some close range sniping, you know, where you just run in a basically turn your sniper into a very focused shotgun. Anyway, I shot through a Brute and the round bounced off the ground and nailed a Jackal right behind him.
I know there are a lot of other ricochet shots players have made, most of them a lot more impressive.
But this one is mine and I'm very proud of it.

Before the sawed-off shotgun was nerfed to hell in Gears of War 3, I once got a Quinn in multiplayer.

For those unfamiliar with the game, the sawed-off has nearly a 180 degree spread and only kills people inside of 5-6 feet. It can kill as many things as you can fit in this cone, which can be quite gory.

I was the second to last man standing and led 3 of their guys on a chase towards the other 2, and once I had their attention, I ran through a chokepoint, turned around, and proceeded to introduce them to their deaths. It's super tough to get more than 2 people to fight you in that range at the same time, so that remains my all-time finest kill.

Haha excellent. Best I've ever managed to do with the Sawed-Off was a quad.

Halo 1 multiplayer, capture the flag, a very forested and hilly map, as I recall. (not too popular either, blood gulch was all the rage.)

Went to the hill on the left of my base, sighted down towards the enemy base and saw a guy on one of those alien speeders jump over the hill covering their base. He flies up, hidden behind the speeder...then he comes down REALLY fast...and somehow I nail him in the head in that second between when the speeder covers him and when he would be hidden by the terrain.

Neither one of us could believe it. :-D
