Most recently:

BF3, flying a jet, managed to shoot an enemy pilot in the head without touching the jet.

Although some of my most memorable would be the various pvp events I've done in FFXI. Although I'd have to go into game mechanics moonspeak, and something tells me yall don't care to hear it.

Edit: Actually I'll add one more from Demon's Souls. Was farming souls, when I got invaded by someone using a Scraping Spear (if you didn't play the game, it's a troll weapon designed to destroy the durability of any weapon/armor you're using.)

Their spear did garbage dmg of course, but with broken swords and such I wasn't doing much better. We even exchanged emotes because we were both incapable of hurting each other.

That's when they weapon swap to their real spear intending to kill me. Then I remember I had that katana that drains your HP with each swing (jagged blade, can't remember the name for the life of me,) busted that out which caught my invader by surprise, but not enough for a kill. Rinse/repeat w/ the Scraping Spear, I run off and remember I had some repair powder.

2 handed it, perfectly timed a strong attack to a weak attack against my charging invader, killed in 2 hits (probably because of counter dmg, they were doing a running attack.)

a 15 minute duel that probably would've been more profitable to my overall goal of farming souls if I had just jumped off a cliff. But to hell with it, I won that fight. Samurai style even.

I was lining up to sniper a base in farcry 3 to get a silent kill when all of a sudden out of nowhere I got the silent kill come up. Turns out while I was tagging bad guys and lining up my shots a leopard ran into the base and wiped them all out. this is after the 2nd reload because a dragon had come up behind me while I was sighting my targets and eaten me :p

Didn't know whether I felt cheated or if it was the coolest thing that had ever happened in a game :p

When I managed to kill Lady Boyle in Dishonored. I had spent the last ten minutes following her around trying to find a way to get her in a place where I could knock her out and get her into the basement so I could get rid of her the non-lethal way. Turns out that that was easy said than done considering she was hosting a massive party. Eventually, she stepped into the bathroom, either I slipped in as the door was closing or slipped in and closed the door behind me. She started to get on my ass for, you know, being in the bathroom with her. I stabbed her in the throat mid-sentance, stepped out, and closed the door behind me. I really did feel like an assassin as I walked out the door and got an achievement for killing her without disrupting the party. I had also gone the whole mission without being detected and I was ready to sneak back to the boat and get an achievement for never being spotted. At least I was until a Tall Boy spotted me and started firing his phosphorous arrows at me. The moment was kind of ruined by that, although it was hilarious to imagine Corvo on fire running away from the Tall Boy screaming "SAMUEL! START THE BOAT!"

The only memorable one I have happened in the mutliplayer of Uncharted 2.

I'm never a really good at any games multiplayer and kills are hard to come by. There was one game and I was getting killed heaps and about half-way through I jumped of a ledge only to see, in mid flight, a player from the other team being shot at and running away. By pure Skill chance; the path of my jump and his running crossed and I, while still mid-air, killed him with one punch.

I felt so bad arse.

Dont know if it's the best but the most recent epic kill was in Borderlands 2.
Three friends and I were trying to take down Pyro Pete (our first raid boss) and on our last "let's try one more time" did quite a lot of damage before the three of them got killed. Eventually I get hit with the critters and go into fight for your life. As Pete only has a sliver of health, I continue to pummel him with shots from my Tediore. Just as my meter is about to run out, I get second wind by killing Pete.
It was quite the nail biter.

A lot of my best kills come from the Elder Scroll series.
Mostly with the assassination missions, I get some good laughs in there.
For example like in the "Whodunit" mission.

And a couple from Fallout, some from other games.

It was in Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven. We were playing the co-op mission to protect Lord Gohda as he hobbled around the level. As we had at that point played the game to death a hundred times over we usually got creative.

Usually we ran around and killed all the enemies before we inevitably murdered Gohda in various humorous ways.

In this case, the mission became to toss shuriken into the air at the highest angle possible so they rained down and killed Gohda.

I managed to toss 2 in the air, the first fell at his feet so he stopped and bent down to pick it up, then the second one landed on his outstretched neck killing him instantly.

We laughed so hard, and wish we had had the means to have recorded it at the time.

I started to think about the fun adventures as a merc on darkfall, or the long hard battles where I was the only one left standing, but deleted that when I thought about the most I ever laughed about killing someone in a game. I have never laughed so hard than when I poured lava in someones house on minecraft. It was so simple, but so funny. He looked up just as it hit his face. So simple, climbed on the roof mined a block and placed lava. I still laugh when I think about that. LMAO!

It was in TF2 a while back, I was a Sniper with a perfect shot lined up on a Scout.

The Scout jumped out of the way just as I pulled the trigger, but the beauty was that there was an Ubercharged medic right behind him, got the headshot just as he was about to use it.

The best kill I remember ever getting was in Battlefield Bad Company 2. What happened was it was the first time I had played in about a month due to school and other commitments. I decided to get back into it one day. So when i got in, I decided to go with the Recon class. I was pretty rusty, but I knew how to play Recon pretty well at that time (plus it was one of the more fun classes). I spawned in on the desert town map that runs along a dam and I went with the M95 Sniper. Within about 15 seconds of spawning in I aimed in and popped a shot off into the head of an enemy in a window across some bonkers distance of about 200 meters away. I was really proud of that kill and I swear I am never going to get a better kill than that for a very long time.

My favourite kill was from Vindictus, back when I still played. Playing Fiona with a hammer at the time, there was a boss (Nine Fingers) that did a running leap at you. Of the games I've played it was the best at imparting satisfying impacts to the player, and hammers had the biggest ones; hammers also have a charge attack and I timed it perfectly: He charged and leaped through the air at me, and I released the charge and effectively played baseball with him. I wasn't sure at the time if it would even go through his remaining HP because in all but the easiest difficulty health bars don't show up. I was fully expecting to take some collateral damage but instead I knocked his rag-dolling corpse sky high and it actually flew off the map. The game follows the boss' body for a short time in slow-mo right after the final blow for the purposes of epic screen shots, and he wasn't going slow at all.

In Battlefield 3, when I managed to pull off a 700 meter shot on a guy... while he was parachuting. Sure it took me an entire clip, but when your only indicator of distance is the size of the guy and he is moving quite fast, that shit is impressive.

In Halo 3, I was in the Banshee and I took out a Scorpion, causing an explosion, killing the driver and the unfortunate soul who got hit when the main gun fell to earth.

TDM in Tribes: Ascend. Some guy called me out for using the plasma gun as a raider. Next round I went spin fusor with the soldier and got a blue plate special on him while he was flying in front of the sun. Felt amazing.

Being a CS player it's kinda hard to answer that question because nice stuff happens all the time, even in random 4fun play like this:

So I'll choose a kill from UT2k4, any of the charged Bio Rifle kills at long range are simply awesome, they eventually happen but I can't remember an exact event specifically. But hitting them are the most awesome thing you can perform in the game apart from awesome looking shock-combos and air rockets, but hitting those long-range 2-3 seconds in the air bio charges is sick.

I'll go farther back than anyone so far... Dark Forces (pc.) In the Imperial City level, the fight with the dark trooper on the rooftop. Since walking to a specific spot triggers the Dark Trooper's release, I killed the few Stormtroopers and then mined a decent portion of the rooftop. I triggered the fight, ran behind my mines and began dodging his long range attacks. He obligingly went through my minefield, leaving him easily finished off. I turned around to leave and for a split second saw a lone stormtrooper advancing toward me and taking aim. I guess I missed him on my initial roof clearing. Before I could fire however I saw an explosion and when the particle effect cleared the trooper was nowhere to be seen. I ran to the area to grab his ammo, and found he had stepped on my last unexploded mine. However his ammo (and corpse for that matter) were nowhere to be seen. I turned a complete circle looking for it, then looked behind a nearby obstruction... still no body. I thought to myself "maybe I imagined it, but something set off that mine. Oh well, it's a mystery or a glitch." So I turned toward the door to leave. At least :45 sec had passed since the mine exploded. Halfway between me and the door, a lone stormtrooper rained down from the sky. Resting finally after a land mine launched him hundreds (perhaps thousands) of feet into the air.

Also, a quad kill in Perfect Dark (n64) against normalsims with a DY-357 (not gold.) Meaning 4 headshots w/ 1 bullet (against moving, if fairly stupid, targets.)

I managed to get a kill from one of those annoying one-hit-kill exploiting players in Uncharted 2 multiplayer. He was one of those guys that jump around constantly in random directions so they're impossible to aim at, and then he blind-fires vaguely in your direction with a grenade launcher to insta-kill you with no chance of getting away.

So, he's jumping about and shooting people, and I was in a doorway behind cover. I shoot at him, he does his stupid jump-dance, and blind-fires in my direction. By pure chance, it hits my cover instead as my character dodge-rolled out of the way, and as he goes to do it again coming towards me so that the next shot would hit I punch him and get a kill in one. Hell yes.

Maybe not the best, but the best I can remember right now. It's also great for a thread like this because I don't need to explain half the game manual before people who never played it understand why what happened was awesome.

Game: warframe, a third person shooter where you play as a space ninja, slicing and shooting your way through hordes of mooks.

Situation: a bomb plant mission where I just planted the bomb, so now I gotta gtfo before the timer is up and mooks are spawned everywhere to make it more interesting.

Setup: I'm sprinting down a straight hallway which ends in a small balcony overlooking a much larger room and on my radar I spot a mook standing right below the balcony.

What happened: I kept sprinting and leapt off the balcony head first. Then I switched to feet first in mid-air and looked all the way up so I was completely horizontal in mid-air, looking straight behind me. Then I quickly zoomed in with my sniper gun and headshotted the guy below the balcony, still in mid-air. There wasn't even a reason to do this as all I really had to do was run. It was just a hail mary attempt for funsies that actually paid off.

The one that I remember best was in CoD4 on Crossfire. I was running out of the lower end ruined building (at the bottom of the sloping road) with a silenced USP, saw a flicker of movement from the first floor behind cover in the opposite building at the other end, fired two shots with the pistol and got a headshot. Never has an accusation of hacking been so sweet.

Back in my time with Call of Duty (1), I was playing a clanwar on the map Harbor.

I was rushing garage as a Russian. As you might know, there is a little gap between the boxes in the garage and the roof. Behind that is a building with windows that are out of sight from behind the garage, as they are higher than you can see through that gap.

As I walked along, one on the German team jumped out of one of those windows and fell to the ground. This means that he passed the little gap in a fraction of a second. During that fraction of a second, as clueless as I was, I reflexed into shooting him exactly there with my Scoped Mosin Nagant and killed him instantly.

It was marvellous.
