Mine was the cliche becoming an astronaut idea until I was about 12 and got into music at which point I wanted to create the next black sabbath..I guess that still is the thing I fantasize about but in reality im completely talentless :p

I was 7 when The Little Mermaid came out. I've wanted to be Ariel ever since. A couple of years later, I realized I'd rather have Princess Jasmine than Prince Eric, but the desire to be Ariel remains.

I wanted to be a Power Ranger, then again what 8 year old didn't?

Ok serious answer for most of my childhood I was obsessed with Dinosaurs, I watch Jurrasic Park at least 50 times, my shelves where full of figures and books about dinosaurs, I had them painted on my wall (Dad's a very talented artist.) Anyway due to this obsession with dinosaurs one of my childhood fantasies was to meet one, safely of course. Although I wasn't a stupid kid so I knew this was impossible, therefore my childhood self thought of the next best thing. I wanted to dig them up, a paleontologist. In the end I just grew up, my dinosaur obsession phase left me and I never thought about being a paleontologist again.

anything Video gaming related...I don't know why but games/gaming stuff was the absolute height of existance, I would have sold my mothers soul for a Yoshi plushy in a heartbeat

I now have all the games I could play and shelfs full of awsome gaming merch...so I'm not doing too badly

For a while, I wanted to be an astronomer. Then a psychologist. Then a game developer. Then a chef. Then I joined the army and every one of those dreams Cossack-danced right out the door.

What when I was a child, well when I was 6 I was rather simple, I just wanted to be an ice cream vendor [small](Aiming for the top!)[/small], when I was 10 and started to steal things I just wanted to steal the Mona Lisa, when I was 14 it was to be the very best cat burglar ever, but shortly after that I saw what crime was really like and after one of the worst but at the same time most important experiences of my life I finally decided to stop that, now since I was really stupid and thought Jurassic Park was actually real I had decided that I was going to modify the dinosaurs code and recreate dragons, of course after making a presentation about it[footnote]Which fortunately most classmates thought that it was a joke.[/footnote], but after my teacher explained to me that was impossible and that Jurassic Par wasn't real that fell off [small](I was 15 BTW)[/small], but I guess that by then it hardly counts as a childhood dream, after that I didn't really dream anything too silly, but as you see I was kind of odd.

Becoming rich, or becoming a super villain.

Guess they're both intertwined.. and more importantly, BOTH STILL A POSSIBILITY.

[Rubs hands together manically] MWAHAHAHAHAHA, etc.

Bugger me if I can remember :| I'll have to ask my mum, she should remember.

I think at one point I wanted to be a vet because I've always loved animals. Then I realised I'd have to cause them pain sometimes and put them to sleep so I didn't want to.

I think I always wanted to be a singer too. Obviously I loved music like the Spice Girls and Britney, I used to stick my headphones in and sing really loudly. It wasn't until I was a bit older that I realised I actually had a good singing voice.
Lost my voice since, so that went down the crapper.

I don't know, I went through several I think. There was a period where I wanted to do the whole astronaut thing.

My childhood dream was to be a lawyer because I would always hear about innocent people being thrown in jail because of shady people and corporate interest. Then, as I go older, I found out that lawyers didn't have a choice on who they could defend and if you we're unsuccessful at keeping someone out of jail, someone could kill you.

So that dream faded quickly. My next childhood dream was that I would find a way to make my Lego creations lifelike and functional. If something where to ever occur to them, I could just simply fix them and have them back to working order. I actually still hold on to some of my favorite Lego creations for this very reason today.
